safe pain meds for surgery
I know
Tylenol
and ibuprofen aren’t safe for my liver, which is a little inflamed still… I exercise daily and have always been a healthy eater… now I’m strict and never a food cheater (this site has been great help). . What pain meds are safe?

Today is better
So I am resting my shoulders and knees with the ibrance and letrozole also taking
Tylenol
arthritis it seems to help a little. I hate when I am hurting so bad I am so emotional and I am to that point now , I feel like a crybaby but I feel we are entitled to cry if we want to.

Relax and Restore
So I take
Tylenol
and a low dose prescription as needed. They can be taken together. Can't take NSAIDs. This time of year I also like local dairy eggnog to which I add some alcohol (docs ok with this). Recliner in front of fireplace with a "cozy mystery". How do you "chill".

Legs like blocks of ice and painful
Have tried Tramadol, Neurontin,
Tylenol
, Ibuprofen with little help. Baclofen does help when adding it to the above. Does anyone have this and know of the source or cause? I fear its damage to the small blood vessels from early years of uncontrolled diabetes. Does anything help?

My conclusion: I’ve taken ibuprofen the last few days for pain, it helps but is a salicylate (
Tylenol
burns my bladder). Also I’ve been using a lot of lidoderm pain patches, more frequently than usual, for myofascial migraines. Maybe it’s Pepcid tablets.

Anyone with PBC tried the carnivore diet?
The only question my GP asked is if I had taken
Tylenol
. I had a cold at the time and I had taken NyQuil for two days prior to the test. I’m not sure if that little amount could have caused this increase.

Help, need guidance, major setback
Barely slept for a month, was taking high dose nsaids and
tylenol
for pain and fever. Had 7 days of sulfa antibiotic. Barely ate, lost 10 lbs. Blood tests still indicate I am fighting an infection and have macrocytic anemia.

Lexicon of Equivalent Patent and Generic RLS Medications?
Examples: I knew that
Tylenol
and acetaminophen were the same, but recently learned that another name: paracetamol. Same for Mirapex and pramipexole which appear to be the same as "Sifrol."

New to PD - questions
I took
Tylenol
today as well which also helped slightly so it’s hard to identify how much all these changes helped individually. - Lastly talk to me about swollen feet. This has been my major symptom and by the end of the day even walking around at home has been challenging..

My story - vaccines, Covid, questions and some things I've learned
He told me not to call him but to stay home with
Tylenol
and if I had trouble breathing to go to the ER. He even discouraged supplements. This was frightening to me. I knew I was on my own. Back to my story.

Aches and Pains and tapering
He says if I can keep the pain at bay with
Tylenol
then let’s taper a mg every two weeks! I know from reading all the tapering questions and answers this is quick but the side effects are much more concerning at this point.

Should I just take
Tylenol
or will an increase in prednisone also help?

I felt really rough when I got up this morning but some
Tylenol
helped with that. Please continue to keep the prayers and good thoughts coming my way. Thanks Eddie

Update, re: Could use a few prayers
He's never been a drinker, but he's been a hardcore
Tylenol
user for years. His waist has expanded by 10" overnight, and he's going on Tuesday to have fluid removed from his abdomen. He's the last of his generation, the last of that part of the family, and my last link to my father.

Update to Pluvicto Consult, and Question
He often has to take
Tylenol
daily but he says that does the trick. I worry about him aching daily...this doesn't stop him from his 2.5 mile walks though which is a good thing. Keeping fingers crossed he gets to start Pluvicto soon and sees positive results!

Restless Legs using sleeping pill
If my legs start irritating me during the day I take 2 xtra strength 500 mg
Tylenol
and that seems to work. I also got a foot bath massager and that seems to help too, I put hot water and soak for about 20 min and that helps too.

Post op liver biopsy pain
I was told to take
Tylenol
which has not provided even an hour of pain relief. It’s worse than nothing. I have a new medical team that wants me to have a liver biopsy annually. After this last experience I am strongly inclined to decline.
