A randomized clinical trial of high-dosage coenzyme Q10 in early Parkinson disease: no evidence of benefit 2017
COQ10 is not in my stack. Should it be? I think there is some benefit to not having things that don't help in the stack. On the other hand, maybe things don't work by themselves but work in combinations, which makes these studies kind of moot. This study was stopped due to futility https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Duke CHAMP clinical Trial Update
Just an update for you fellow warriors. I've had my first infusion of the two chemos cabazitaxel and carboplatin and two immuno-therapies (nivolumab and ipilimumab) 14 days ago. My side effects have been less than what docetaxel were. A surprising side effect is I woke up to an erection (a surprise

Change in plans - looks like neuroendocrine
From my last post, I had an allergic reaction 15 minutes into my first dose of Docetaxel - part of a clinical trial combining Docetaxel and Xofigo (Radium-223). Two weeks later, I had a second reaction despite additional precautions (oral decadron 3 days prior, IV Benadryl and Decadron immediately prior

Options after Zytiga fails
I've been on the Magnitude clinical trial for 8 months and now Zytiga has failed. I have extensive bone mets (greater than 30). The most recent bone scan shows 5 new mets so I'll be off the trial. I'm in Canada and think my next options are either Radium 223 or chemo. I've had genetic testing and

3RD COVID VACCINE SHOT TO BE APPROVED WITHIN DAYS
My post on getting a third shot on my own, without approval from the government, has had very wide readership on this site. It should be so, because it is perhaps one of the bigger concerns we all should have right now. Now the good news is that the government here in the US is about to approve a third

Inulin improves gut health in humans in part by stimulating the growth of beneficial bifidobacteria
I need smartypants to figure out if this inulin is good or bad please. https://selfhacked.com/blog/health-benefits-inulin/ Inulin is present in 36,000 plant species including those we consume in our daily diets such as wheat, onion, bananas, garlic, and asparagus. Feeling Conflicted
My dad’s PSA has been doubling for quite some time now, he has PSA checkups every 3 months. It seems like Zytiga is failing/has failed. My dad’s PSA 11 months ago rose from 0.05 to 0.07. 6 months ago it went up to 0.11. Then 3 months ago it went up to 0.19. With today’s PSA checkup, his PSA rose to 0.34
