Not a candidate for the CAR-T trial. Should I pursue cabozantinib here in the USA or look abroad for LU-177?
Unfortunately I received some bad news this week. Since I have a seizure disorder I am no longer deemed a suitable candidate for the CAR-T trial which I was planning on participating in at the City of Hope in Duarte, CA under Dr. Tanya Dorff. CAR-T can have some serious neurological side effects such

Articles on the status of immunotherapy in PCa and infomation about AMG-160-BiTE therapy.
Hello FPC members, I found an interesting article on the status of immunotherapies in PCa which I found mentally and spiritually stimulating. I believe when you read this article, you will be surprised at all the studies that are ongoing for immunotherapy drugs alone or in combo. It includes tables

FDA lifts hold on CAR-T therapy P-PSMA-101 and gene signature predicts whether localized PCa will spread
Greetings FPC members, The FDA had previously put a hold on Poseida's P-PSMA-101 candidate but has now lifted the hold for it to continue Phase 1 testing. The hold was placed after a patient died of Macrophage Activation Syndrome. The death was not determined to be definitively related to P-PSMA-101

Importance of Early Detection-Current Numbers
Early detection when the body is strong and the tumor burden is minimal are important in the treatment of genitourinary cancers! I make this statement as a man with a Gleason 7(4+3) at age 56; Stage 4 Metastatic PCa at 57; six month chemo - hormone therapy clinical trial with two different infusions

Xtandi + Niacinamide
Hey guys, I have been on xtandi for 4 1/2 years. Started in a clinical trial. After 4 years my PSA started to rise. the trial ended but my Research Doctor told me to stay on Xtandi. My PSA continued to rise to 78..86. No new trials or treatment were available so once again I had to do my own research

Nubeqa anyone?
Hi, I'm in Stage Four PC since 2013. Original PC diagnosis was Nov. 1999. I've been on Lupron for years with add-ons of Casodex, Xtandi and Zytiga. Presently on Zytiga (1000 mgs daily). Along the way I have had Brachi, Prevenge and some blind clinical trials. Here is my question: my MOC is thinking of

Difference between Niraparib and Olaparib
I'm BRCA2. Anyone know the differences between Niraparib and Olaparib? I have opportunity to enter into a blind clinical trial with Niraparib (50% chance of getting it). But I think that Olaparib will soon be approved for use for PCA in Canada. So, if possible, I would prefer to have 100% certainty

NICE approves venetoclax with obinutuzumab for patients with untreated CLL
Great news for patients in England and Wales as The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) have made recommendations for venetoclax plus obinutuzumab as an option for treating chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL).
Which group of patients can access this new treatment?
It is recommended

90% efficacy for Pfizer’s COVID-19 mRNA vaccine is striking. But we need to wait for the full data.
German biotech company BioNTech and US pharmaceutical Pfizer announced on Monday promising early results from their phase 3 clinical trial for a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. These early results are what is known as an “interim analysis”. It’s an early look at the data

Does a prostate cancer treatment flowchart exist.
It seems that many questions on this site are of the type where do I start, or what procedure, test, drug treatment(s), or scan do I do next. Has anyone gone to the trouble to produce a flowchart of all these possibilities? Tying them together to give a comprehensive view of what treatments remain depending
