Parking lot 10, elevator B, floor 8 - venetoclax edition
Some people on here who treat at MD Anderson (MDA) or have read my previous reports of my visits there will recognize the 8th floor as the leukemia ward at MDA. You get there by parking in parking lot 10 and taking elevator B. MDA is so vast a complex that there are multiple thousand car garages and

T4 supplements in subclinical hypothyroidism do not have significant effects on cardiac performance in older people
This paper shows that T4 supplementation in older adults with subclinical hypothyroidism has no effect on future cardiovascular events. It thus does no harm and therefore does not justify any alarm that T4 in SCH has any bad effect at all ages. So If a dctor says that no therapy will be given in SCH

Xgeva vs Zometa
My husband is now castrate resistant, with extensive progressive bone mets. He will be starting Jevtana unless the Lu-177 expanded access opens up soon. A new T3 derivative shows promise in treatment with T3 and smaller FT3 spikes after taking it
Ths paper and abstract is downloadable. It demonstrates that the new T3 derivative has a good display of less vigorous FT3 spikes after taking it. This means that combination users and T3-only users have a better and more stable response. However, this compound will be patented and sold as rather high

Oral SERD
I am in my 8th cycle of an oral SERD in a clinical trial. It is amazing. I have never felt so well, at least not in the past decade, since well before I got mbc. I have to remind myself all the time that this reprieve is temporary, and I am lucky to be on something with minimal side effects. I try not

Supplement Nichi Glucan appears safe and may be worth a PD trial - I would welcome any feedback on the linked documents.
A trial was done involving children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). However, the research paper makes a fairly good case (IMHO) for running a similar trial with PD patients. Beneficial reconstitution of gut microbiota and control of alpha-synuclein and curli-amyloids-producing enterobacteria,
