T3 update
Thanks to everyone for responding to my first post about starting T3. After feeling awful on 5mg twice a day with 100 levo I decided to up it to 10mg twice a day. My mood lifted, headache went away and I have more energy and motivation. However, I seem to be having problems getting to sleep as if I'm

Complex Ovarian Cyst, Positive Pregnancy Test.
My partner and I (both 31) had been trying to conceive for 13 months with no luck. Went to GP a couple of months ago to start investigations into fertility. I had an ultrasound which showed a 6cm complex cyst on my ovary. They have referred me to gynaecology urgently.I did a pregnancy test yesterday

New and desperately seeking advice and support
Hello, This is my first post, I’m hoping to get some support, advice and knowledge to help me understand what is going on in my body. Please bear with me as I give some background - I have been seen for the past couple of years by endocrinologists after a pituitary macroadenoma was incidentally found

Advice needed (again) from you lovely people
Me again. I’m so sorry for the long post, thank you so much if you get to the end. Advice from lovely people on this forum ~7 years ago was great and I can’t thank them enough. I pushed for my GP to investigate further and although she disagreed my B12 was poor (it scraped into the range when the GP

Advice on test results needed
My latest test results are as follows TSH: 0.01 miU/ml (Range 0.35 - 4.45) -8.29% FT4: 23.5 pmol/l (Range 10 - 23) 103.85% FT3: 5.4 pmol/l (Range 3.5 - 7.5) 47.50% I didn't test my vits and mins, they are consistent, most are ok or even optimal, but D and zinc are always low in Range no matter how much

Problems with T3 treatment
Hello I'm writing to see if anyone can offer advice. I'm hashimotos hypothyroid, 5 years and have been Ok but not brilliant on levothyroxine at ~85mcg daily. My T3 has been consistently low at 3.7 while T4 has been 20-21. Not terrible symptoms but high cholesterol, some fatigue, mood often low. Working

curious any hypothyroid diabetics experience out there?
22+ years of both Hashi and diabetes (Type 3c)…Gp has cut my levo from 100 to 75, and I’ve kept the T3 (5x3) as he is convinced that my high HR is from ‘overmedication on levo’ ( long story involving 4 1/2 years long covid)…felt obliged to take lower dose to shut him up and get referred to correct drs

Low TSH and decreasing T4
Good morning. I've been having frequent blood tests as my TSH has been below range for quite some time. I had an appointment with the GP this morning and my TSH is even lower at 0.06 (sorry didn't get ref range). He advised that this indicates that I am over medicated, but said that he wouldn't decrease

Free T4 high, what to do? Also IR
I am 63, 1m70, 62 kg Free T4 = 21.80 (pmol/L) or 1.69 (ng/dl) is high (ref. value 11.90 - 21.60 OR 0.92 - 1.68 ) TSH 0.431 (mIU/L) (ref. value 0.27 - 4.2) Free T3 = 3.80 (pmol/L) or 2.47 (ng/dl) (ref. value 3.13 - 6.76 OR 2.04 - 4.40) Also rather worrying: HA1c = 6.0 (pointing toward diabetes

Suspected alcohol related liver disease
I'm 51 and just started my journey, although no official diagnosis yet. I'm waiting for an appointment with hepatologist due to FIB4 fibrosis score 12. Low platelets, raised ferritin, deranged LFT. Alcohol related liver disease suspected.

Neupro patch - how do I get off it?
I was put on the 3mg patch in June and only get relief with an addition of 30mg codeine. I then have no symptoms and sleep all night. I have a sleep clinic appointment next week. My ferritin is low. I know I should ask for an iron infusion. What else should I be asking?
