For those with kids...
Sorry if this is triggering for anyone ttc. For the ladies with kids how do you manage? I have 3 young kids 5, 7 and 10. I know I'm lucky to have had no fertility issues. Endo/Adeno I believe has been a result of a c section with my third. But how the hell do you manage the pain and worse CONSTANT FATIGUE

Why don't doctors prescribe Dutasteride more often?
I get this question from a lot of men that have prostate cancer. Although the black label warning is a concern to some doctors, and has been discussed here in previous posts, I think the main reason is simply that most doctors don't know about it. Here is the single best paper reviewing the three major

PSMA Scans and False Positives
So I saw my MO yesterday to review my ongoing treatment of Xtandi and Lupron. Been 3 months so far with no real side effects except hot flashes. My PSMA scan showed prostate and one met to sacrum. Prostate treated with 28 rounds of EBRT. MO says since sacrum is so close to prostrate it might have

Last time they tried again and it went through okay. Had meds to mitigate but not prevented a reaction. They aren’t go to try the infusion

My Prostate Cancer Journey
It has been a year since I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and it has been quite a difficult journey. However, I have been incredibly fortunate to have the love and support of my wife and family every step of the way. Their presence has been a source of immense emotional comfort and personal care

Platelets Dropping
Is this “normal” or any advice? Undergoing radiation since March, have 22 sessions done, 6 to go. Started Casodex in December to prepare to start Eligard in January. Radiation started in March. My platelets have been dropping. MO said could be due to Lupron and/or radiation. IMRT targets Gleason 9

I need urgent help for my uncle.
My uncle who resides in France and is a holder of a French citizenship, has been diagnosed with terminal prostatic cancer. He had treated this condition in the past but it ultimately came back, but this time around doctors (including a specialist in Marseille) made him know that his condition was incurable

Satisfaction with AUS after Radiation
If you have had an AUS implanted after receiving radiation are you satisfied with your decision and has it improved your quality of life? Or do you regret having an AUS implanted and if so why? I have had both a prostatectomy and salvage radiation (see profile). I regained continence after the prostatectomy

Second Line Hormonal
I am still only receiving Zoladex injections every three months. I did try Abiraterone 2022/2023 and it failed after a few months. I have been trying to get my Oncologist to prescribe Enzalutamide. I have been treated with docetaxel again and thought it might re-sensitize me for another hormonal drug

IMRT WITHOUT THE JELL
I'm scheduled for IMRT Radistion without the jell. Doc says the jell may push cancer microscopic cells away from the prostate. He said the cancer is about to protrude through the capsule and microsopic cancer cells could be out of the capsule and did not want to take a chance of putting the jell in and

Curious about Prednisone dosage.
Warriors If you do not mind telling me, I am curious about how many of you on Zytiga/Abiraterone take a 5 mg dosage of Prednisone , and how many take some other dosage level. I know most of your also getting Lupron injections and some are taking other medications along with the Zytiga/Abiraterone
