IVF vs trying naturally with low AMH
Just had second round of IVF with a failed fresh blastocyst transfer and a first round with no blastocysts (I am 43 with an AMH of 0.8). When I had my initial consultation, I’m pretty sure that the consultant told us that our chances if trying naturally were at around 5%. He said (I think) that

Progesterone and Test
Hi all, I had a day 6 frozen blastocyst transfer on Friday 26/07. The period was supposed to arrive on Saturday 3rd August, I did a pregnancy test on Sunday, which was negative. The clinic suggested doing the test on day 11 (Tuesday 6th)...will it turn positive? how many women saw this change as positive

Is it over?
I tested using Boots Pregnancy Test Strips on day 10 after 5 day blastocyst transfer using midday urine sample. It was negative. Most likely it won’t turn positive. 😔

How soon after D&C for next Fet?
Hi, we had a fresh transfer of a day 5 3AA which resulted in a strong positive test (still dye stealers up to now). Unfortunately our 7 week scan today only showed a round regular 15mm gestational sac with a corresponding size yolk sac but no fetal pole. As per EPAU criteria we need another scan at 10

OHSS risks?
Hi all - we retrieved 29 eggs (22 mature) on Monday - I have to say this was beyond our wildest dreams and a drastic improvement on my 2nd and 1st failed cycles - and I am booked in for a transfer tomorrow at 12pm. My clinic seem to have just left the ball in my court regarding a fresh transfer. I'm

Almost 13yrs ttc (Sensitive post)
It has been almost 13 long years, 4 ivf cycles for me and a doner cycle from my sister. Over this time I have had many tests, procedures, surgery, diagnoses and moved country and started university as a 40 year old. Last Wednesday I had my 5th embryo transfer, and today had my beta-hcg 9dpt which was

Endo thickness for fresh transfer - do they measure it?
Hi all, I hope you're doing well. I had my 2nd embryo transfer yesterday (first fresh transfer) at a private clinic in Prague. My first egg collection and subsequent FET was on the NHS. I realised after the transfer that they didn't measure the endometrium thickness. Is this normal, because the embryo

Fresh or Frozen Embryo Transfer?
Hi! I just had my first IVF cycle with fresh 3-day embryo. I'm now on my 6th day past embryo transfer and I feel like my symptoms like sore boobs, cramping, etc. are gradually disappearing. Does any of you had success with fresh embryo transfer? Eager to know.. Thank you!

Boobs not sore anymore 6dp3dt
Hi! I'm new to this community and I'm going crazy with the on and off symptoms I'm experiencing post embryo transfer. My boobs were sore after egg retrieval until transfer and few days after transfer. But, now on my 6 days post transfer. It feels normal now. It's not sore anymore. Does it mean the implantation

clothing and other tips for IVF egg collection stage
hello I’m super worried about starting my injections next week - I just wondered if anyone has any tips on clothing to wear? I have a feeling that my tummy will be sore and sensitive so wondered if certain clothes were better? (Injection tips welcome too) Any other tips are welcome on how get through

8dp5dt bfn
Hi firstly thank you for all your informative posts. I'm a first time poster. Today I am 8dp5dt FET and tested this morning. BFN. I tested although early because of the symptoms I have been having for the last few days: Sore breasts, nausea, cramping, strange taste and smell-even water tastes off, thirsty

Lower backache after BFP and previous MMC. Really anxious
It is exactly 1 year since my last FET which ended as a MMC at 12+3. Haematologist recommended enoxaparin for any future pregnancy. I had my 5 day transfer on 9th Sept (after 2 cancelled cycles as my ovulation was all over the place). My last embryo. I got lower backache 24 hrs later and then extreme

CoQ10 for FET
Hi all, I’ve kept taking CoQ10 in case I need to go through another egg retrieval if the transfers don’t work. I’ve read it may help implantation but evidence is sparse. Has anyone continued to take CoQ10 for their FET and it worked? Thanks

Any successful stories of first failed FET with donor eggs and success on 2nd FET with embryos from the same donor / cycle?
Hi all, I hope you are all doing as well as you can be on this difficult journey🩷. I had a double FET from a donor cycle, which sadly ended in a loss at 6 weeks. The embryos were PGA tested and all high quality. I am going to be having another double FET in a few months time and I am really nervous

Natural IVF cycle
Hello everyone, looking for some advice if possible. Starting my 5th embryo transfer on my next cycle and my clinic have suggested a natural IVF cycle rather than medicated. What has peoples experience of this been? Not 100% what it will entails tbh I also want to explore the option of transferring

HCG levels - unsure
Hi all, After a 4 year fertility journey (inc 5 losses) we were so lucky to welcome our daughter in 2023. After feeling a bit nauseous a few weeks ago, I took a test to find out I was pregnant again. We’re still in absolute shock and I’m just waiting for it to go wrong - can’t shake the previous trauma
