Embryo transfer upcoming - uncertain

Hi everyone!

So I have been waiting for my period to start this week (it was due last Sunday) in the hope that I can then start this cycle in prep for my embryo transfer. To note I have 14 embryos frozen and will be having a transfer without any meds as such so should hopefully be a lot more straightforward than anticipated.

However I am due to go away on Good Friday and will be abroad so I am not sure I am going to be around for embryo transfer with the way this is going! I can feel rumblings of my period but so far nothing!

The following month I am also travelling somewhere long distance for a family occasion. I guess what I am asking is how did you feel after embryo transfer? Has anyone else travelled shortly after and was it all OK? I am just feeling a little apprehensive about it all.

My clinic is in Athens so i’ve travelled home so many times the following day after transfer.. some people even fly the same day.

There’s absolutely zero evidence to say flying causes miscarriage/failed implantation.

We give up so much in this journey I would honestly just go and enjoy your holiday. Xx

I just think if it’s going to work then it will work. If it doesn’t it’s not because of something I have or haven’t done.. it’s just cruel and unfair xx

Absolutely. What will be will be and life has to go on! We have to do the things we love to support our mental health which in turn is going to support all of this journey! Xx
