ED Results after 20 IMRT Treatments ?????
I am g7 (4-3). 68 psa 8.
I just finished 20 IMRT treatments at UCLA .
Please advise me again the ED side effects with radiation and timelines.
I remember from my research that with radiation you should have the same baseline "good" erections for the first 2 -3 years.

Pattern Tertiary 5 PC
Does anyone have Pattern Tertiary 5 PC? What have been your experiences with it? My 50 year old son was recently diagnosed with 4+3=7 tertiary pattern 5. From what I’ve read it’s more difficult than just 4+3 = 7. I would appreciate any feedback you can give me as he’s only about seven months into

Plant Sterols.
Is it safe to take plant sterols with levothyroxine? I've been told my cholesterol is high, it's 6.1 and my GP wants me to take Statins. I am not happy about this as I feel sure they will upset my IBS so I wondered if plant sterols were compatible with levothyroxine.

Benefits of yoga 🙏
Does anyone else do yoga and have information or experience on it reducing portal hypertension ? I have been doing yoga more often, and it is great from a stress reducing and muscle toning perspective, I came across a research article about how yoga decreases the sympathetic and increases the parasympathetic

Are there a nomograms or similar tools that would predict recurrence after IMRT/IGRT (without ADT).
In 2015, I underwent 45 sessions of radiation (no ADT) for a small amount of 3+3 and even smaller amout of 3+4, with a pre-radiation PSA of 1.7. My PSA has stabilized at .2 for the past two years. Can't find any post radiation predictive models or tools.

New G10 to the group
I was diagnosed in 2017 as a G10, details are in my profile, the diagnosis after scans was there was no mets detected. Did 3 weeks of IMRT, LDR Brachy and 2 years of ADT. PSA was always undetectable after first Lupron shot. In Jan 2020 went off ADT and remained undetectable for ~12 months, by Jan

Undetectable PSA but new bone uptake
I had my 3 month scans and blood work as part of arasec trial (Lupron + darolutamide). The good news - PSA is <0.01. Previously diagnosed M1b. The bone scan however picked up “new focus of uptake in lateral left 11th rib”. Radiologist labeled it indeterminate, doc believes it to be false positive

Comfortable Bladder Solution for IMRT & SBRT Figured Out- Hope it is Useful!
I have had now 11 IMRT treatments at UCLA with Dr. KIshan and they have been terrific EXCEPT for the "comfortable full bladder issue" which was like waterboarding for the first couple of treatments... Here is the formula I developed for the "full bladder " issue and it has worked every time. (no urgency

IPP Inflatable Penile Implant after PCa Treatment; When to Move on Implant Surgery
Well, as with all things in life, hindsight is 20-20. So it is with my experience with my IPP (inflatable penile prosthesis) after 2 1/2 years of PCa treatment. I was operated on in June, 2020, had IMRT RT Radiation treatment ending May, 2021 and finished a total of 21 months on ADT this past December

Tomotherapy side effects?
Hello, we saw a RO today and based on the 2nd opinion here in AZ, and his interpretation of his PSMA scan; my husband decided to start Radiation via TomoTherapy. Have any of you experienced this; IMRT (targeted ) using CT and targeted to just tumors! Our understanding is that he would have better outcome

Doxazosin
I was diagnosed with compensated cirrhosis in 2017. Today I was prescribed Doxazosin, an alpha blocker, for palpitations and hypertension. This is supplementary to the Irbesartan and Felodipine I've been on for many years. But I'm not happy with the leaflet on the medication, which lists liver problems

The liver and high blood pressure
Can anyone help here? My blood pressure is too high but the medicines I've taken for this are not helping at all. One was a beta blocker, the other (more recent) an ACE inhibitor called Rampiril. It seems likely that I'm not metabolising certain drugs as I used to but need to get the blood pressure
