Not sure what these readings mean?? Do I have high cholesterol??

NON FASTING LIPDS

Serum cholesterol level 5.40 mmol/L [0.0 - 5.2]; Above high reference limit

Plasma triglyceride level 1.07 mmol/L [0.0 - 1.7]

Plasma HDL cholesterol level 1.91 mmol/L

Plasma LDL cholesterol level 3.3 mmol/L [0.0 - 3.0]; Above high reference limit

Serum cholesterol/HDL ratio 2.8 [0.0 - 4.0]

Hello,

What is a healthy cholesterol level? mmol/L

Total (serum) cholesterol below 5.0

Non-HDL cholesterol below 4.0

LDL cholesterol below 3.0

HDL cholesterol

above 1.0 for a man

above 1.2 for a woman

What is a healthy triglyceride level?

Fasting triglyceride below 1.7mmol/L

Non-fasting triglyceride below 2.3mmol/L

Your non HDL is 3.49

Compare the numbers with UK guid line.
