ED Results after 20 IMRT Treatments ?????

I am g7 (4-3). 68 psa 8.

I just finished 20 IMRT treatments at UCLA .

Please advise me again the ED side effects with radiation and timelines.

I remember from my research that with radiation you should have the same baseline "good" erections for the first 2 -3 years.

Then you will start to decline due to "aging" caused by the radiation after the first 2-3 years.

I also kind of remember that if you make it to 2 years with a "good" erection that you are golden for a "normal " decline from 2 years forward as men aged the same as you without prostate cancer treatment.

Am I correct? Has this been your experience?

I received 60Gy in 20 fractions in January of 2021 + 24mo ADT. During ADT I used Viagra to keep the system functioning. Now that I am in T recovery I am very pleased that everything seems to be functioning normally except for the fact that I have no semen.

Every man will respond differently. Do not expect more than your pretreatment function. One of the reasons that I chose RT over RP was that RT offered greater chance of normal sexual function and I am very grateful for the choice that I made.
