mock cycles

I am soon to be 44 and after failed ivf with my own eggs, I’m doing ivf with donor eggs in Spain.

i have just started my mock cycle before we do the real thing with donor eggs next month. I’d be grateful to hear your experiences of mock cycles - what does good and bad outcomes look like from this. Thanks

Hi there, did they say what they were hoping to learn from the mock cycle? I did one because the clinic wanted to do an ERA/test receptivity of the uterus etc. Or I suppose also maybe tracking lining thickness? It could be a number of things depending on what they want to understand from you I would guess.

I am with you - I'm in Spain right now about to have my donor transfer (in two hours!!) at 43 - I wish you so much luck for next month 💕💕

Hi IVF> Some clinics do this so that they can be sure of the correct catheters to use etc during transfer. Good luck! Diane
