I'm 22 weeks today and more and more I'm feeling bruising on both of my sides where we did all of our IVF injections. There is no visual bruising however it really does hurt to the touch. I'm of course trying to sleep on my sides for baby but it's becoming more and more painful by the day. Is this normal? π€·πΌββοΈ Like I said, it is only the areas we used for the needles which we stopped at 11w5dπ€·πΌββοΈπ
Curious if anyone else has had the same? βΊοΈ X x

Iβm just about to stop my injections but my stomach is visibly bruised but also so painful to touch all over. Even areas where there are no visible bruises are so tender. I said to my husband that I feel my stomach will never recover! I guess it is normal considering how many times youβve had to puncture the skin over a prolonged period of time. Hope it settles for you soon.
I hope your body can recover quickly! βΊοΈ Yes, I suspect that's the case too π₯΄ I was extremely bruised and also had a rash from the progesterone shots. I had felt after stopping at 11weeks my body had healed fairly quickly and now more and more bruised feeling without the visual bruises.. However its the only logical thing I can think of as it's only in those injection areas π
Hi PoppyAmber. Do you think it could be the round ligaments stretching? Strange if it is the injection sites after all this time. Speak to your midwife or GP. Good luck! Diane
