IVF weight gain?
Hi,We're starting our first round of IVF soon and I'm wondering what I can expect in terms of weight gain from the treatment? I've read that it can cause weight gain. Obviously if I get pregnant that will mean weight gain, and I'm fine with that as it'll be worth it, but I'm wondering about people's

bloods during IVF?
Hi - wanted to ask the network if taking blood is a regular thing during the ivf process? I have very deep veins and it’s really hard for health care professionals to take blood from me, so wondering if taking blood is a regular part of the process and whether I need to start prepping my body a bit more

Embryo transportation- suggestions
Hi IVF warriors, I'm planning on moving my one frozen embryo to ARGC from another london based clinic. Have any of you used the following couriers. Any better than others? Cryozoom EmbryoPort CryoA2B IVF warriors It's a bigger decision than just costs. I want to ensure the courier is careful with

Switch of medication
I’m starting my third round of IVF next Monday & this time they have changed my meds from Buserelin & Menopur to Syneral & Meriofert. Just wondering if anyone else has made this switch & what results they saw? Thanks.

Changes
What did you change in the lead up to your IVF cycle? I'm due to start stims in a few weeks - I already take all the supplements required (have been for months now), I have acupuncture every fortnight, reflexology the weeks in between. I have two daily cups of coffee, the rest decaf. I am a natural

Bleeding at 7 weeks pregnant, baby is fine on scan though.
Hi All, I had some bleeding at 7 weeks pregnant and was convinced I was having a miscarriage as it was quite heavy. I got scanned and found out it was a hemorrhagic gestational sac that had ruptured and baby looked fine (which was reassuring). Apparently it's fairly common in IVF pregnancies and I stopped

11dp5dt OTD tomorrow. Can’t stop crying! HELP!
I can’t bring myself to do this test. I had a failed IVF in January. Now I used 2 donor embryos 5AA and 4AA. Was supposed to test today but since clinic closed. Still no symptoms other than twinges in Lowe abdomen on 6 and 7th day and then nothing. My period should have started yesterday (usually I

Another devastating outcome to add to the catalogue - outcome of last own egg transfer
Hi all - sorry for long post I had been preparing for a long time to transfer my last own embryo before moving to donor eggs. My history with infertility has been long, sad and shocking. Starting with an early natural pregnancy loss after TTC a year, we then moved to IVF and first ever cycle got

Exercise during IVF
Hi Everyone I would like some advice on what kind of exercises can I do during stimulation? I’m just freezing embryos no fresh transfer. I heard that too much exercise and you risk rupturing follicles. I usually only get 1-2 follicles each cycle. I would love to go back running- is that a risk?

My only fresh embryo transfer from two rounds failed. I’m heartbroken. I don’t think I was given the right medical care. Unsupportive DH
My only embryo failed. The first round nothing grew past 4 cells - which I can accept was egg quality. Fast forward 5 months and we both made lots of changes in terms of supplements. The second round I believe the quality will have been much better for both of us. However - the clinic had

Ready to give up, but have 2 embryos left
After multiple IVF rounds (due to secondary infertility), I finally got pregnant at the end of last year with a donor egg, but sadly that ended in a missed miscarriage. The loss and how it was managed was pretty traumatic, so I’ve decided to take a few months off before the next FET to give my body a

Pregnancy test line progression?
Hi, We are on our 6th round of ivf. Second transfer - frozen hatching embryo. We started testing day 4 (evening) and it is now day 6. We took ovidrel 250 13 days ago- could this line be the trigger? We are also wondering if its chemical as it came up early and we are paranoid it is slightly fading

Who got a bit crazy during infertility? xD
Sometimes I am surprised how years of infertility turned me a bit crazy 🤪 IVF was our last option to try. I was promising myself with this (fourth) transfer - no weird things, research, etc. And here I am ordered myself Tarot fertility reading! 🙈 I wish I could say it was my first one... and as weird

Two rounds. 7 eggs. ONE EARLY BLASTOCYST. failed fresh transfer. Should we DNA fragmentation test before moving to the next stage?
Hey Everyone! I wonder if it is a good idea to get a DNA fragmentation and oxidisation test done on husbands sperm. I don’t know the recent figures off hand but they were pretty bad - we were having ICSI. The embryologist seems to think the sperm looked ok….and blamed the eggs...but Im so not convinced

Planned IVF but switched to egg donor- last minute! No symptoms AT ALLL. One of a kind!
I’m46yo. I was scheduled for IVF transfer but found out my embryos were no good. So i went with plan B, went with 2 donor embryos 5AA and 4AA (same day I was supposed to have my embryos, so I did go through stimulation etc) Transfer on Feb. 22nd. By 24th, had sore boobs- I’m guessing due to the trigger

Missed miscarriage after IVF (ICSI)
Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on here. I don’t really have a question, just thought it might help me to share my most recent fertility heartbreak with this community. We found out about a year ago that it would not be possible for my husband and I to conceive naturally due to male factor

Herpes (or acyclovir usage) affecting implantation after ivf embryo transfer?
I have had herpes for about 10 years. I have noticed more outbreaks during stims. I've already had 2 failed transfers and am worried both that having herpes and /or taking acyclovir will affect implantation for my last transfer. I've read some conflicting studies on acyclovir and it's effect on implantation

Birmingham or Oxford? to get early IVF appointments
Hi all. I was living in Oxford and have been referred to Radcliffe hospital for infertility treatments, will have first appointment there in March. But now I have moved to the Birmingham, near Queens Elizabeth hospital. I want to ask whether Oxford will have longer IVF waiting list or Birmingham? Where

ectopic experiences?
Following lap excision (13 weeks ago) of rectovaginal and pelvic (including around left ovary) endo, and years of infertility with many rounds of IVF/FETs, we were encouraged to try naturally for a few months before returning to IVF. We were surprised but excited to find we were pregnant after our first

Just been told we're going down the IVF route
Hi, Bit nervous about posting this, as I'm new to this community and not done anything like this before. Me and my partner have just learnt today that we're going to be referred for IVF. We've been trying for 2 years and have "unexplained infertility". I've just been reading up on the procedure and
