Week 6 #1 done
I was going to give myself an extra rest day after slogging my way through a very unpleasant 20 minutes at the end of week 5. The weather was so inviting yesterday morning that instead of a gentle morning of pottering around I set off to start week 6. What could be so difficult about it? After a solid

Recently diagnosed under active thyroid - Hashimoto's, bit confusing!
So pleased to have found this forum! I had a routine blood test followed by a call from the GP asking me questions about how i was feeling. I get tired easily but put all symptoms like that down to getting older and haven't really any other symptoms. I had glandular fever age 18 and since then have

Armour thyroid
I have been on armour for several years and my endo is aware. 2 months ago I had a blood test which showed my levels were fairly low, TSH was 8 ish and t3 and t4 were low. So I increased my dose slightly whilst waiting for a further endo appointment. Within a couple of weeks I was hyper, no blood test

So many symptoms & genetic history but tests say I'm normal?
I have multiple signs of hypothyroidism, plus multiple people in my family have it however I've been tested twice by doctors and once through Monitor My Health, all have said I was normal apart from the first test the doctor did said my results looked like I may have issues in the future(I didn't fully

The thyroid gland under Notch control
An interesting snippet. Which is just as well because this is all we ordinary people can view! Do TFC1 and TFC2 get controlled by TSH exactly the same as each other? Or are the response profiles different? Or do different isoforms of TSH affect them differently? [i]

Got retested/ tested for testosterone levels
I got restested and testosterone level checked. Thought Iād share for your interest. Seems like my TSH improved a little actually, so maybe the crazy strict diet helped.

Following my push to try and increase my FT3 levels (see my post of a few weeks ago) 3 weeks ago my consultant suggested I increase my Levo from 125mcg to 137.5 mcg for 2 months as he thought this might increase my T3, he had my graphs showing my FT3 was then at 15%. 2 weeks into the increase, which

Endocrinologist has reduced Thyroid meds *again* due to suppressed TSH from T3. Argh!
Hi All, After a blood test a few months back I was asked to decrease my T3 dose so they could increase my T4 prescription. Despite a marked increase in hypothyroid symptoms in the months since the T3 drop and T4 raise, today a second endocrinologist has asked me to now drop the T4 a dose too as my TSH

Socratic Lab Results ā any advice?
ā¦ because Socrates said in many different ways āthe more I go, the less I knowā and when I look at my lab results over the past years they make no sense to me. However āappropriateā in theory, or not, and whatever dose(s) I take, Iām only getting worse. Iāve been on T3/T4 combo since June 2021. I will
