Advice Please
Hi really appreciate being able to post here for advice as a bit of a learning curve on pred. Had my tooth extracted last week and didn't carry on with my reduction of 12mg to 11mg but aborted that, rested and took antibiotics. All went well although the tooth extraction was tricky as half had crumbled

Muscle weakness after tooth extraction. Thyroid or adrenal?
Hi Everyone, Yesterday I had a tooth extraction ( had three injections to numb me). Today I am feeling extremely tired and have muscle weakness in my arms and legs. Would this be a thyroid or adrenal thing? Thanks for any insight. Best wishes Carolineanne x

Pain after tooth extraction
Desperately looking for advice! Had a tooth pulled out on 5th Feb and still get toothache and headache everyday. I also have osteoporosis and took alendronic acid from Oct 2009 to Jan 2013 then stopped out of choice. Been reading about osteonecrosis of the jaw whilst waiting for a letter to see a specialist

Bronchiectasis
I now find that I have Bronchiectasis and from what my GP says it sounds like

bronchiectasis and I have been prescribed antibiotics. All this year I have also had a very sharp pain in my back which now appears to have settled in my rib cage. The information I am seeking is this.

tooth extraction
hi all had a tooth taken out on Tuesday and was in agony to the point of tears when the injection wore off. Two days later and my face is still swollen and neck sore. Anyone else find their body reacting differently to dental work since they have had fibro.

A Scotsman phones a dentist to inquire about the cost for a tooth extraction… “85 pounds for an extraction, sir” the dentist replied. “85 quid ! Huv ye no’got anythin’ cheaper?” “That’s the normal charge,” said the dentist. “Whit about if ye didn’t use any anaesthetic?” “That’s unusual, sir, but

47 Days in the Hospital with ILD. Still fighting. Doing Well. Hopefully Inspiring.
I actually had "
Traction
Bronchiectasis" caused by the abnormal stretching of the bronchi, because my restrictive lung disease was tightening up my chest and pulling and stretching the bronchi. Some of the bronchi have re-opened and some have not.

Update on tooth extraction
Hi guys, Just to let you know, I had the tooth out at the dentist not the hospital. Doctor told me off, but I was desperate. It's two and a half weeks on and I am feeling much better. My wife is going to do me a Christmas dinner tomorrow and I can drink again. Not quite the same because it's

Warfarin and tooth extraction???
My husband has seen an emergency dentist today as he is in terrible pain. On finding out he takes warfarin daily the dentist wouldn't touch him and has referred him to the dental dept at hospital. It could take 4 weeks to get an appointment but he simply can't stand the pain. Has anyone else had a similar

Lifts, and power cuts
Hydrolic and
Traction
. The unbiased advice was try to opt for Hydrolic, a backup emergency power supply is usually standard. With the
Traction
it's an extra, which can be more expensive. It's also possible to have a special phone line in the lift, which would still work in a power cut.
