Dental Work
Hi there, it may appear a silly or basic question so forgive me for asking. I need some dental treatment e.g. tooth extraction, filling and crown probably. Do I need to be cautious with the drugs I am given for pain relief or 'numbing' the mouth etc. I currently take Levothyroxine only. Thanks

Tooth extraction update
I saw my dentist today, who I trust totally. After much deliberation it was decided the tooth with the crown had to come out 😫 it took 4 attempts of injections to numb the area but finally it is out. I was at the dentist for 2 hours! I came home, got a hot water bottle and got into bed and slept for

Tooth extraction
Has anyone any information on having teeth out if you have a defibrillator fitted. Do you have to have them out in hospital or at the surgery. I’d be grateful to hear from anyone.

Extra cover for dental extraction
Hi. This is my first post and I need some advice. I’ve had PMR for just over three years and am currently taking 2.5mg pred. Tooth extraction
I am going to need to have a tooth taken out, probably next week. Does anyone know if I need to stop taking my Edoxaban (I am hoping not)? If so, for how long beforehand? Anything else I should know before the procedure? Thank you.

Tooth removed. The dentist worked around the canula with no probs. Bit of a delay as dentist didn't like all the bruises on my legs so had to have blood test which was fine. Thanks to all who responded to my initial post.

No fractures but back pain still an issue
What did work for me was IDD therapy paid for privately (this is the modern form of
traction
). I was able to walk nearly a mile while I was undergoing this, yet all the professionals seem to want to do is give me drugs. If I can walk, then I can exercise and help my bones.
