Has anyone else noticed hormone requirement changing once you reach end-stage Hashimoto´s?
An ultrasound in November 2020 showed an undetectable thyroid gland so the radiologist concluded end-stage Hashitmoto´s (the ultrasound was ordered by my new doctor who questioned the original diagnosis as my anti-
TPO
and anti-TG levels have been in range for the past couple of years).

Do not use TSH in a simple manner when making a diagnosis or examining treatment
Other factors that affect TSH levels include thyroid peroxidase (
TPO
)-antibody positivity, BMI, obesity, smoking, critical illness, and many xenobiotics, including environmental pollutants and drugs.

Can anyone help with these numbers?

Had my thyroid checked in Cyprus. Fed up with 'out of range' results being ignored by my GP
The Dr looked at my Anti
TPO
and Anti TG and decided on an ECG. He diagnosed tachycardia and suggested this be a result of the thyroid. I also had an ultrasound on my thyroid and was told it was destroyed due to chronic thyroiditis.

Blood results after starting Levo. advice please
TPO
antibodies - first test - 21. Does this indicate autoimmune disease Ferritin 72, folate 14.6 Vit D is up from 69 to 92 - do I continue with D3 at 2,000? Should I add K2, MK7 and magnesium? Cholesterol has dropped from 5.9 to 5.5 but GP wants to talk about a statin. Going to refuse that.

Hashimotos thyroid
My thyroid levels now went crazy and my
tpo
was 270 which they told me is hashimotos and my Tsh went 30.800. I feel like I’m not even a person anymore and I just want to cry all the time. I’m not even 30 and I feel like I’m over 50 years old.

Was RAI necessary?
Since having several private blood tests I notice my Tg antibodies are raised and my
TPO
are very high. Would the Hashi's without RAi have eventually overridden the Graves?

Antibody advice
Antibodies were
TPO
<9 and Thyroglobulin 46.6. The GP just wasn't interested. Someone suggested a Gluten Free Diet - which I have been on for several months and I do feel better (only the occasional bad day now).

How to proceed?
I've had nearly every hormone, crp, IGA, ANA,
TPO
, TGA, coeliac, transglutaminase, lupus, rheumatoid, iron, cortisol test out there. The low thyroid has my cortisol levels a tad high in the evening and high normal before bed resulting in mid range levels in the morning.
