Please can you interpret my latest blood test
I have now got an appointment with the Endo Clinic on 27th Oct. and need to put my ducks in a row. I attach the results of my latest blood test on 17th Oct. and would be grateful if you could interpret what is going on with my thyroid so that I will be better informed when I see the Endo. Could autoimmune diet hide thyroid problems?
I got
TPO
and TG tested, and I would think that if I didn't have a problem then the results should be much lower due to the autoimmune diet.( In range but high up the range) I have had my eds and bowel problems under control for the last 5yrs, but about 2yrs ago my body started shutting down showing

Looking for advice and an understanding of the thyroid
I had a full blood count which also tested for my thyroid and was told by my dr that it was showing as under active. 4 weeks later my second blood results have shown that my TSH is 3.6 and
TPO
ab is 8 - can anybody shed light on what this means?

Advice Please
She said the results were as follows TSH 1.34 (0-3.5) T4 18.1 (11-23) The thyroid function test did not includeT3, TG antibodies or
TPO

My brother's results -help with interpretation
There's a test for
TPO
on there. Do the results on that mean, he doesn't have hashimoto's? Many thanks for your help. Me and my brother are like the deaf leading the blind. And his GP is more than rubbish.

Any advice ahead of meeting endocrinologist tomorrow?? Hypothyroid but Levo messing with my cycle... TTC post miscarriage..
TPO
antibody test negative. Haven't had TG antibody test done yet, money is tight at the moment. Have stopped taking multi vits and trying to eat lots of iron rich foods as ferritin came back low. I have an appointment tomorrow with an endocrinologist for the first time.

I Would Like Some Advice Please? Re: Blood Test After Levo Reduction.
A while back after a blood test, the doctor (not my usual) rang me to tell me I was taking too high a dose and I was to go back to 75mcg daily instead of the 100mcg that I had been on. Some time previously it had been raised because of my tiredness. I’d been fine on 100mcg. Anyway, I rang my doctor

6-week post-medication adjustment visit with MD
He even ordered TG-ab even though
TPO
-ab were negative -- although he thinks (as do I) that it is wise to assume it is Hashimoto's and act accordingly when it comes to diet, increased risk of other auto-immune conditions.

This is a bit odd. Apparently my local NHS lab can block access to online results ...It seems a bit F&@*ing Orwellian to me.
This is what I wrote to my NHS lab:- [i]"I was diagnosed Hypothyroid in 2007 with
TPO
633, and have since been on varying doses of Levothyroxine as indicated by blood test results and consultations with my GP .

Thyroid problem, not sure what I have
I have raised
TPO
antibodies and a goiter with nodules (I had an ultrasound). My GP eventually organised a TSH test this March, which came back as normal - 2.57 mi/ul, so said to 'wait and see' so no treatment. Since then I feel so much worse.
