Fatigued with anxiety
Hi, I have hypothyroidism which was diagnosed three years ago and am currently on Levothyroxine 100mg daily. My memory has improved to a more normal level but I wake up every morning barely able to open my eyes and in work I am able to function, but I lack sharpness and feel detached, almost like I am

Perplexing results. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts?
I was wondering if any one had any thoughts on my results I’m 14 years post RAI and have been on levothyroxine for 8 years and I seem to be very sensitive to dose change. I don’t have thyroid antibodies just a toxic adenoma. They run my T4 higher around 19- 22 for conversion for T3, my consultant

Private Endo recs please -North England
Hi. I’m choosing which private Endo to go to in the hope we can explore all options and consider T3 for my poor conversion. Can anyone private message me with thoughts on either of the following two, or any other you can recommend in Yorkshire or the surrounding area please? Dr Peter Hammond at Duchy

How do you work out your percentage through the range please?
0.27 - 4.2 R 2.4 mIU/L FREE T3 3.1 - 6.8 R 3.7 pmol/L FREE THYROXINE 12 - 22 R 12.6 pmol/L How do you convert your results into a percentage of the total range please? I thought you took the top of the range figure as 100% then worked out 1% then multiplied by the result but I don’t think

Seeking reassurance on fatigue and recovery

Sensitive - How long does it take to get a negative pregnancy test after miscarriage?
Hi all, I took medication for a miscarriage on Dec 23rd (due to a empty 3cm sac). I was told the hcg pregnancy test should be negative 3 weeks after, which will be Saturday. I took the HCG test this morning and the test line is still almost as dark as the control. I was expecting the test to be negative

Iron Deficiency and Iron Deficiency Anemia: Potential Risk Factors in Bone Loss
Members are likely all too familiar with patients being told that they are suffering osteopenia or osteoporosis due to having too much thyroid hormone. And, especially, too much T3. While it is important to realise that there is a case to be made regarding excess thyroid hormone, it is just as important

Infertility and endo options
Currently starting second round of IVF (x2 embryos in round 1 with x1 negative pregnancy test and x1 embryo left frozen) with endo still on uterosacral ligaments, pelvis and bowel vaginal wall. Been trying to find consistent & clear guidance whether to have remaining endo removed before further embryo

Help please in results interpretation of advanced function thyroid test
I’ve just received results of private test because surgery has reduced levothyroxine from 75mcg to 50mcg. Please see below. I would welcome some advice before I approach anyone. Jan 30 TSH 0.23 (0.27-4.2) T4 17.7 (10.5-24.5) At this point doctor wanted me to reduce to 50mcg but I confessed that

tsh ‘suppressed’ but I want to stay on 125mcg levo. Thoughts?
Morning all! Just had results back from gp thyroid panel (so only tsh and t4). 23rd April Tsh: 0.2 (range 0.27-4.2) T4: 15.9 (10.5-24.5) I’d asked for an increase in levo from 100-125mcg and had been taking the increased dose for around 10 weeks when I had this test. Here are my previous results

How to change from T3 only to T4?
I'm currently self medicating on 50mcg Tiromel and have been for a few years. My doctor prescribed me 75 mcg Eutirox 5 x week and 88 on the weekends. It just wasn't working for me, so after a lot of reading I assumed I was just someone with a faulty conversion gene and decided to try alternatives.

Help with results appreciated
Hi everyone, It's been a while since I had full TFTs etc so I was surprised to see some of the results, especially compared to last time (2020). The TSH is lower than in 2020 (when it was 3.7), the Free T4 is slightly higher (16.2 in 2020), but the Free T3 is lower than it was (5.24). My B12 results

Thybon Henning 20mcg T3 from Roseway
just posting this for comparison. I just had a private phone appointment with Roseway labs (£35) cheaper appointment as it’s a repeat, first appointment is £55. I will be trialling 10mcg T3 split 5/5 she suggested Thybon Henning (lactose free). 100 tablets for £60 via private prescription to cut into
