Early embryo transfer (Day 1 transfer) 2WW

Hi everyone,

I don’t hear a lot online about embryo transfers that are done early on. So it’s hard to know whether I should be expecting an early pregnancy test to work or not. This round of IVF I ended up with 1 embryo so my clinic put it straight back in the day it fertilised.

The cycle before this I had endo surgery and the one before that I had 1 embryo that made it to day 5 and was top grade. I couldn’t have that transferred as they had to go through the uterus to get to my left ovary so there was a risk of infection. So I know I can make a good quality egg but of course I have no idea of whether this one was!

It’s been 12 days since but I think it’s a one day transfer even?! And I got a negative test. Should I just accept this has failed or is it too early. Has anyone else had embryo transfers this early? thanks in advance for any advice!
