Advice please on Thyroid Blood Test Results
Hello, this is my first post and I'd really appreciate some help with my blood test results. I apologise in advance for the long post! I’ve had hypothyroidism symptoms for as long as I can remember. Reluctantly my GP agreed for me to try 25mg Levothyroxine about 6 years ago (I think to shut me up!)

Any experiences of full or partial hysterectomy?
Hi all I’m new to the forum and wondered if there’s anyone who has had a full or partial hysterectomy who is open to sharing their experiences? I’ve had endometriosis for the past 20 years and have had two previous surgeries. The coil gave me a few years break from the symptoms but they have since worsened

Hi ladies, I have my pre op for my hysterectomy on Monday and I read the other day that some hospitals will refuse you if you have a bmi that is too high. I’m panicking because I used to have a bmi of around 33, but since I’ve gotten really bad with adenomyosis, I have nerves that are trapped and can

Hysterectomy without adenomyosis or fibroids?
Hi all, Is there anyone out there who has had (or is planning) a hysterectomy for endometriosis, without a confirmed diagnosis of adenomyosis, fibroids or heavy bleeding? What symptoms ultimately influenced your decision to have hysterectomy, and how are you going now?

Histology report negative
So I had a hysterectomy 3 months ago. My uterus is positive for endometriosis however my ovary bowel and omental deposit were negative. I was just told well it looked like endometriosis so I can be discharged from clinic. I had endometriosis removed from all of pelvis, bowel and abdomen in 2019 and

Carrying on with Art with PD?
This is my husbands latest project. All his own drawings which he loves doing, now adding colour. Making a slide show took some doing. It’s like meditation for him and is very absorbing. He’s managed to do this all whilst looking after me as well, I’ve just had a second total knee replacement! He

Comments on my TSH, Free T4 and Free T3 please
Appreciate your comments on my TSH, Free T4 and Free T3 please, especially in relation to a low energy level. TSH: 1.99 uIU/mL (0.55 - 4.78) Free T4: 1.2 ng/dL (0.67 - 1.52) Free T3: 2.9 pg/mL (2.3 - 4.2) I would like to have a lot more energy. My Primary Care MD is cautious on levothyroxine dosing

Hysterectomy questions
Hi everyone, I’ve been told that (finally) I’ll be allowed to have a hysterectomy for adenomyosis. I was wondering if anyone could share their stories so I know what it’ll be like? I like to be prepared so I’m interested in both good and bad stories. Any tips would be greatly appreciated as well.

Holistic, Happy, Healing Hysterectomy
Dear Ladies, I thought it might be helpful to post a positive news story on this forum, to perhaps relieve any anxieties that you have, if you are awaiting surgery. I hope this story is not insensitive if you had a rough time in recovery. We are all different and there are so many factors involved
