Zoladex and Mirena question? Need help.
Okay so I’ve been on zoladex for two years awaiting a hysterectomy but due to covid the waiting list is so long they have taken me off the zoladex as the gynae doesn’t want me on it any more. So I had a Mirena fitted a week ago with the hope it will keep my periods away. My next zoladex would have been

Bulky uterus - Adenomyosis?
Hi, I have a question you might be able to help me with. From the last ultrasound I had, the gynaecologist who did the scan wrote in the follow up letter that I have a "bulky uterus". I've looked that up online, and as far as I can understand it, I think that means I'm likely to have adenomyosis. I

Monitoring while on prostap and awaiting surgery?
It's coming up to 6 months of being on prostap and 3 months on Tibolone and my consultant wants me to continue on them. I am on the waiting list for a hysterectomy and my ovaries removed due to stage 4 endo, adenomyosis and an endometrioma, with bowel involvement (7 months on waiting list). I'm wondering

Does a hysterectomy work ?
Hi, has anyone else had a hysterectomy for a prolapse ? My GP has said I'm now having a rectocele as well as my prolapsed bladder. I have a ring pessary, which has worked up until now and use Vagifem as well. I'm 68. My question is does a hysterectomy work ?

Can Endometriosis still survive 20 years post hysterectomy if taking Oestrogen ?
I'm new to this group and apologise if this seems a silly question after all this time, but can my endometriosis come back and trouble me if I restart oestrogen? Some basic background re my concern. In 2001 I had an hysterectomy which included removal of my womb, ovaries and most of my cervix. I was

Are these symptoms typical 2 weeks post op?
I had my hysterectomy 2 1/2 weeks ago. I have had my uterus, cervix and fallopian tubes removed. I lost 1/2 litre of blood during surgery so I have been given ferrous sulfate to take for a month. Blood pressure is at the lower end of ok. But still, it's ok :) I have two questions... I am feeling dizzy

Adenomyosis and hysterectomy
I’ve just been diagnosed with adenomyosis and I’m in so much pain every day. It seems my uterus is swollen and is pushing on nerves. It’s ruining my life as I can barely drive let alone walk. I used to love hill walking but haven’t been able to do that for months now. I really want a hysterectomy but

Non conversion of T4 to T3 and low ferritin - Do I stick with NHS in the hope they give me T3.. will it work even if they do give it to me?
I have low thyroid where I am not converting enough T4 Levothyroxine into T3 and am waiting to go to my local hospital to see an Endo but am not feeling confident regarding the willingness to even acknowledge T4 to T3 conversion by NHS Endos and of course what medication they will give me and what knowledge

Cause of my hair shedding
Hello I’m currently going through a big hair shed. I have two labs from early February and was wondering if it looks my thyroid fluctuations or iron could be the culprit. My free t3 dropped from 4.0 in December to 2.8 in February and is now back up to 3.9. I have my labs drawn the first week of the

Aches all over
I seem to ache all over, especially at night. I can hardly walk even using a frame. My back aches from one hip across to the other. My back hurts either side of my spine between my shoulders. I think it is muscular as it is worse when I move, although it hurts just lying in bed. I inject methotrexate
