Advice wanted on supplements to take to try and manage osteoporosis the natural way
I have osteoporosis and don't want to take medication and want to go the natural route to stop bone loss/ possibly increase it slightly. I am trying to sort out what supplements to take, and am getting confused. A definite bit of advice coming through it to take organic calcium, eg Algecal. This

"It will change everything" - two scientific blockbusters we'll all benefit from
Mainly of interest to geeks, but of import to everyone. Blockbuster # 1: CRISPR-Cas9 Within weeks we expect to have several effective vaccines against the coronavirus, vaccines made from scratch and rushed to market within 12 months. Hitherto, such a development schedule for a new vaccine was unthinkable

Pain in ribs at night
I'm new to this hub and this is my first post. I have recently been waking during the night with pain under ribs at right side, and often extending around the back. I have to sit straight up for an hour or more until it subsides, as lying down makes it worse. I am guessing maybe Biliary Colic. I

Plant based ALA [alpha-lipoic acid] can weaken COVID-19 infection and maybe even prevent it.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7427590/#!po=9.45946 ALA can increase human defenses against SARS-CoV-2 by increasing intracellular pH. ALA is a potent antioxidant and reduces oxidative stress and inhibits activation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB) and can play a vital role in the treatment

I started the mini pill almost 2 months ago, have been bleeding since. Just heavy bleeding for almost 8 weeks now. GP prescribed mefenamic acid, even that hasn’t helped. I’m struggling mentally and emotionally and nothing is working!

The Hallmarks of Cancer: Preserving Health and Longevity while fighting Prostate Cancer
[i]Note: I have been thinking about these ideas over some weeks and how they might apply to complement my therapeutic approach to my prostate cancer (HSPC T3cN1M0). Nothing here should be taken as suggesting an epigenetic and phytochemical approach as an alternative for optimally selected and medically

Rising Alkaline phosphates
In June of 2019 my AP was 427, normal is 45-129. I started on Ursodiol and the number started dropping. By Jan. it was 180 and has stayed about the same all year. I am tested monthly. The last few months its started rising, now it's 201. I see a Gastrointerologist PA. He says it's just because of fatty

Early Satiety
This problem started after taking migraine pain killer (
Tolfenamic
acid
) for 10 days. I didn't take any gas tablets (omeprazole) at that time with pain killer. After a few days early satiety symptoms appeared. It's been 4 weeks since I have stopped taking those pain killers.
