Non stop bleeding!

I started the mini pill almost 2 months ago, have been bleeding since. Just heavy bleeding for almost 8 weeks now. GP prescribed mefenamic acid, even that hasn’t helped. I’m struggling mentally and emotionally and nothing is working!

Hi! I had the exact problem when I had the mini pill and I also got prescribed the same drug to manage the bleeding! In the end I gave up on hormones and relied on good old Condoms. It was too tiring and expensive the manage bleeding like that all the time, have you considered the other options available? Perhaps the combined pill which allows you to control the bleed? You may have already been down that route or can’t, like myself due to having migraines but it might be worth investigating. But just so you know, you aren’t alone in that struggle I think it’s a common issue for most women with that particular hormone! I can sympathise completely!
