Urine iodine test results
Ive just received my Iodine (Urine) test result from Genova via Thyroid UK and the result is 91 mcg/l (Range 100-199), hence classed as "Slight Deficit". Any views on way forward e.g. should I maintain or increase my iodine supplementation (below)? Note: 1. Ive not been diagnosed with thyroid disease

Sad news - Sheila Turner
It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that Sheila Turner, founder of Thyroid Patient Advocacy (TPA), has died at the age of 81. Sheila founded TPA in order to help patients who did not resolve all of their symptoms on levothyroxine. She was a great advocate for NDT for thyroid patients

How can I raise my T4 levels?
Okay my doctor did bloodwork over a year ago and the TSH came back at 2.676 range 0.550-4.780 T4 - 2.6 range 4.5-10.9. So she tried to put me on Levo that made me feel like crap. So i researched and said I wanted NDT. So I am taking NP Thyroid now 60mg. I felt that wasn't doing enough so I added Thyriod

GERD or something else?
LOng story short, I ate raw unfinished partly cooked meat last night around 9pm. I know internally, I keep having extreme panic attacks. I keep thinking I'm gonna die, or my time is officially starting to wrap up. I woke up this morning feeling nauseous, wanting to puke but not doing so, and belching

I'd appreciate some advice
Tired all the time, really really tired. Cholesterol. My diet is excellent, rich in green leafy veg. Don't drink alcohol, don't smoke. BP now 125/80 while my norm for decades has been 100/60. Unable to lose weight unless I drop calories to below 600 per day, which means literally starving. After no joy

Frustrated with results ... getting a 2nd opinion from a different Endo ... what do you all think?
So I have an extensive family history of thyroid issues... I have been having symptoms for years... they are continuing and at times are worse main ones are exhaustion, always cold, hair falling out in pieces, inability to loose weight, full ache in (what I believe to be lymph nodes) armpits, neck, chin

I have been suffering ftom hyperthyroidism for a year - diagnosed as Graves. My results were getting better but my latest blood tests show that my free TS3 and TS4 levels are still a bit high but my Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies results are showing as negative; there are -15.
