Can you reject GNRH analogues? Consequences? Please help.
Hi there, I'm going in for my second Endo surgery next week, 9cm endometrioma, and the MRI showed a few other lesions. My last surgery was 6 years ago, and they removed a 16m endometrioma. The surgeon called last week in response to some questions I had and made an offhand remark about having a shot

GnRH side affects and endo pain
I have had my second monthly GnRH injection out of three that I am having but have really been struggling with menopause side affects such as hot flushes, all over aches and feeling exhausted. Has anyone else had this and did these symptoms go on their own or did you have to have HRT tablets or did anything

Scared of GnRH as symptoms include osteoporosis, alopecia and hot flashes. Endo and fibroid.
I've been diagnosed of fibroid, endo and dermoid cyst. Gyna suggested surgery but must take GnRH for 6 months pre surgery to avoid blood loss and eventually hysterectomy. I'm 29. GnRH side effects scares me - alopecia osteoporosis depression weight gain. I'm a very active person, an artist and marketing

Surgery follow-up appointment
Hi all I had my surgery on the 30th of March, where they found four bits of endo. I did have stomach pains in my first month, but then I had an infection. From the second month after my surgery, I had stomach pains again, although it was at a lower intensity and frequency. Over the last couple of

Periods returning?
Hi. I have been on 2 different GNRH analogues for 2.5 years ish. I have decided to come off the injections as I can no longer tolerate the side effects. Especially joint pains. How long does it take for your periods to return? Will they be as bad as before? Thanks

Carnivore Keto Issues and Concerns Especially For Parkinson's.
I've been reading and listing some random thoughts associated to the carnivore keto diets that may be true or untrue, unhealthy and dangerous, or just propaganda. Seems though that dairy, beef, pork, chicken, eggs, meats, fish, and animal products etc. should be avoided in favor of a healthier alternative

Genotropin Human Growth Hormones
Hello good people, The only available human growth hormone in my country is Genotropin by Pfizer. Has anyone ever used it as a HGH to improve egg quality in IVF?

Preconception Thyrotropin Levels and Thyroid Function at Early Gestation in Women With Hashimoto Thyroiditis
Of course, research is necessary. We can all make lots of assumptions, guesses, which turn out to be entirely wrong. But this paper does seem to endorse what many here have said. If you are going to become pregnant, that itself will tend to raise TSH levels. If you want to keep below any chosen TSH

Early 50s male, healthy till hypothyroidism my first few months experience of treatment
I don't usually share info on the internet, but as a lot of material out there is aimed at women or Americans (I mean no offence to either!) I thought I'd stay my experience so far. Diagnosis, what does it all mean, and treatment/first medications. DIAGNOSIS Late 2022 I saw a nurse as I was taking longer

Help or advice or suggestions needed
I don't know what's wrong with me. Let me try to make it simple. I always want to do something badly and very intensely. I'm just unable to make myself do that work. You can call it laziness, you can call it anything, carelessness, but I'm very sure it is not that. To give you an example, I'm going through

Fed up and tired
Hi, I did a request to get my latest MRI report. They have sent me notes of a recent MDT discussion. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in June 2020 after suffering for over 15 years. I am concerned about the report because it says my adenomyosis looks slightly better. I wasn't even told I had that as

Phosphate
Hi Everyone, I have hypocalcemia and PTH insufficiency know as hypoparathyroidism but still a working diagnosis. When I have my bone profile done by blood test my phosphate does not elevate high like they usually do when you have low calcium. It just sits around middle normal range and sometimes low

Article : 'NHS doctors brushed off our condition as menopause – what we suffer from is far worse'
Article from the Mirror about women struggling to get a diagnosis of what turned out to be hyperparathyroidism. It takes many years. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/health/nhs-doctors-brushed-condition-menopause-33179607 Not the best medical/health-related article I've ever read, but isn't very long.
