Obtaining T4 Medication Privately.
I am going to try getting Levothryoxine from my GP but as I never got any help years ago when I self-diagnosed myself with Hashimotos
Thyroiditis
and my health had seriously declined, I generally choose to avoid going to my surgery to keep stress levels to a minimum and just sort it all out myself.

Thyroiditis, insulin resistant PCOS, menopause, High BP
Hi - Not entirely sure where to post this given the list of above diagnoses I have just been saddled with. Saw a private Endo, who was amazing, and has said I have all of the above. He's put me on propranolol (beta blocker) for the Thyroid and high blood pressure (180/150), metformin for the insulin

Dose increase but labs stable. How is it possible?
My Endo thinks that this is not a symptom of hashimoto, has nothing to do with the dose reduction, and is another thing entirely called subacute
thyroiditis
. So my question is to all the fellow hashimoto sufferers: have you ever experienced this? Can this be caused by hashimoto?

Possible Hashimoto's but no symptoms?
Could it be subclinical or acute
thyroiditis
instead? If it is hashimotos, will it get worse or will medication keep it at bay. I have always been fit and healthy so I really don't like the idea of developing crippling symptoms even with medication.

Unable to get diagnosed / Desperate for answers.
I am desperate to get in touch/work with a physician who is willing to run a full thyroid panel and all relevant tests in association with autoimmune
thyroiditis
. I am based in Greater Manchester and would like any assistance in finding the relevant help. Thank you.

Still battling on.....
Saw Endo this week he said he does not treat under TSH 10 too but thought I had viral
thyroiditis
despite me not having the symptoms for that and I'm now recovering.

Had my thyroid checked in Cyprus. Fed up with 'out of range' results being ignored by my GP
I also had an ultrasound on my thyroid and was told it was destroyed due to chronic
thyroiditis
. I have this information now am now on betablockers and the 'woozy ' has stopped. I take 200mg thyroxine and have done for the last 2 years but don't really know what all this means going forward.

Please help - recently discovered various issues which may all be linked to thyroid disorder? Still in the dark, no Endo appointment yet
Can anyone sympathise with my story so far or recognise any of my symptoms/experiences and link them with Hashimoto/Autoimmune
thyroiditis
? Is it true they just wait to see if the antibodies kill off my thyroid, without any treatment in the meantime?

Advice desperately needed please
I had de Quervains
thyroiditis
in my early twenties over thirty years but by the time I had seen a consultant I was over the worst of it and didn’t need any medication .However the doctor I saw mentioned that he thought I would probably have trouble again later on in life .

Update on my TSH levels and bloods
She explained I was correct that an underactive thyroid gland can be caused by Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
which is an auto-immune disease that eventually leaves you with an underactive thyroid.

Thyroiditis of unknown origin
Hi All, I have been diagnosed with a
thyroiditis
of unknown origin, confirmed not autoimmune. I was hyper when diagnosed. My FT4 has now dropped back into range but my FT3 is still high and TSH still suppressed. We are monitoring to see it goes back in range and ensure I don’t subsequently go Hypo.
