Hello everyone,I would really appreciate any advice regarding my latest fasting blood tests, done before taking my Levothyroxine tablet. I am still on 75mcg Levothyroxine since diagnosed with Hashimoto's in 2010. After my latest post, around Nov 2022, I followed the advice I was given and started taking

These are the results I received the other day. The TSH seems ok but I鈥檓 not sure about the others. Tgey all say within norm but to me the ferritin seems too low. If that鈥檚 the case what should I take! I did ask fir vitamins to be checked but these are all she did

Thyroid hormone and cortisol!
According to Paul Robinson in his book recovering with T3, he states that thyroid hormone and cortisol need to be considered together. Then he states that thyroid replacement can worsen cortisol insufficiency. It's on page 316. Then he States higher cortisol/effects reduce TSH and T4 to T3 conversion

Reassurance about taking T3 during pregnancy
Hi All I鈥檓 just looking for some reassurance if anyone else has continued on T3 during pregnancy. When I tested positive my ft4 was 17.5 (12-22) but my ft3 tanked from 4.4 to 3.1(3.1-6.8) and all my hypo symptoms were terrible. (Previous ft4 was17.1 and ft3 4.4 so I was still probably under medicated

Need help, reassurance, explanation anything!
Hi everyone, I'm very new here and I'm still in a little bit of shock and trying to process everything at the minute. I am 7 months postpartum and have a beautiful 7 month old baby boy! He's wonderful, but the entire pregnancy was not! I suffered hyperemesis for 6 months with multiple hospital stays

As I type, tomorrow is the start of the 45th Annual Meeting of the European Thyroid Association, Milan, 9 路 12 September 2023. Although all very professional and scientific - there might be something of interest - somewhere! In particular, we might see some thyroid "news" stories. Do add replies if

Prescribed NDT on NHS now doctor refusing to prescribe. Help!
I has to move GP Practise and before moving to current one I asked to speak to a GP. Receptionist said it wasnt necessary if a nhs consultant has recommended they will prescribe. So wouldn't get a doctor to phone me. I moved. All seem good but my repeats were not being set up. So became concerned.

Help, need your help
My TSH is .37 so I am low. Do I need to take a higher dose of Synthroid or a lower dose of Synthroid. I can鈥檛 remember how that works. My T3 and T4 are within normal ranges.

Do My Symptoms Have Anything To Do With My Lowered Levo?
I am getting so fed up. The doctor put my Levo down from 100mcg to 75mcg a few months ago, she wouldn鈥檛 have it that I felt better on a higher dose. I鈥檓 pretty sure I talked about this previously in a post. But lately my digestion has been bad, I am so tired in the afternoon that I鈥檓 yawning a lot
