Help, anyone??
Hi all, I’ve been having a few issues recently ( exhaustion, felling as if I’m trembling inside, fatigue, and just a general feeling of being unwell) I couldn’t get my GP to test my thyroid as I only did it in January and he said it was too soon as it was normal last time. He wouldn’t retest any

Have you disclosed your self-medication to GP?
Hello Everybody, I've been successfully self-medicating with T4 and T3 or NDT, without GP's knowledge, since 2016. For the 30 years before that I could not get diagnosed for hypothyroidism because I am borderline central hypothyroid and my TSH never got high enough for the NHS diagnosis criteria.

Advice on Blood results please?
Hi, I'm not diagnosed with any thyroid problems but have had numerous blood tests over the last 4 years because of severe menopause symptoms that have not responded to HRT. Would you be able to have a look and see what you think please? I have also included some of the vitamins tested.

nodules on my chest
have been told I have nodules on my chest, found with a CT scan, have had a under active thyroid for the past 70 years could this be thyroid related. Seeing an endocrinologist next week, going private to get it sorted, any helpful advice would be appreciated. This site is so helpful.

NDT and NHS blood tests
Hello everyone, I'm just curious about NDT (I'm using Armour) and its status within NHS. I understand it is not a licensed medicine here. I asked my GP practice if they would be happy to provide me with blood tests to monitor my bloods, however I got a phone call from admin stating they would not

Armour Thyroid
I was taking Armour Thyroid from 2003 to 2016 when I was told I could no longer have it and was given Liothyronine but a much lower dose 5mcg x twice a day as opposed to 3 grains of Armour x once a day. Since then I have gained weight again, I sweat profusely, and falling asleep all the time.
