adrenal fatigue

hello, I am looking for any suggestions to support the adrenals please.

Through a saliva test I show as stage 3 fatigue and probably have for many years. I try not to get stressed, eat well and not to overdo things, but nothing seems to work. I seem to work and go to bed

I am currently on ERFA and T3 and feel no better.

My vitamin levels are fine, although strangely my Vit B12 is high and outside the levels.

thanks for any suggestions 😊

If you are not already taking any B12, high levels on test can be misleading

Good morning,

You might want to take a look at my current post which is on a similar topic. Not only have I received some extremely helpful advice, there’s also links within the post to previous posts. A veritable feast of info!

You might also want to share your results.

You say your vitamin levels are fine but what exactly are they? You would be an unusual hypo person not to have some low vitamin levels.

Just being within the range is not good enough. Most members supplement their levels to achieve optimal levels. Without optimal levels our thyroid hormone does not work well.

Hi….here are my results. The only B12 I take is in a multi vitamin

When did you take your last T3/Erfa before this test?

Your FT3 is only 27% through range so even if its a false low its pretty low. Also your FT4 is below range and some need it a little higher than that.

You have positive antibodies so have you tried a strictly gluten free diet? This helps many.

Your vitamins are indeed good considering you're on a multivitamin. We dont recommend them as they usually contain iodine which isnt good for hashi's, plus a host of other reasons.

Jaydee1507 thank you for your reply. My last medication was at 3pm the night before and the test was fasting at 9:30am

I send my results to a private thyroid dr who recommends the doseage, however this last time I feel awful, not helped by a dose of Covid.

I am currently on ERFA 45mg in the morning and 30g in the afternoon and 5mg Liothyronine twice a day. I had a half of my thyroid removed from thyroid cancer January 2022.

I should have said as well as the multi vit, I also take iron, D3 and fish oil. I will definitely stop the multi vit and see what I should take, thank you it hadn’t occurred to me before as that was what was recommended by the Dr.

I am so fed up with it all I try so hard and nothing helps. I have been strict gluten free and dairy free for about 25 years and don’t have sugar. It’s surprising how much I love 100% chocolate though!! The private dr costs a fortune for it all and I wouldn’t mind if I could function properly.

Thanks again 😊

You likely mainly need a dose increase. You may also need your FT4 to be within the range at least if not a little higher.

We are all individual as to exactly where we need FT4 & FT3 but certainly for FT4 to be below range it wouldnt suit many.
