TSH fallen
My gp has just marked my results as 'normal for this patient' but I can see that my TSH has fallen from TSH 1.38 munit/L in Sept 2023 to TSH - 0.30 munit/L June 2024 ST T4 was 9.2 pmol/L in Sept 2023 and now SF T4 -11.90 pmol/L June 2024 should I be concerned about the fall in TSH?

Carbimazole and cramps update
Hi Everyone, I have been on a roller coaster since my last post, hence my relative silence. My mother was seriously ill, I was asked to sign a DNR, then my mother recovered, now I am able to focus on my own issues. Since my last post about my severe cramps, they seem to have subsided since introducing

About to start IV Methylprednisone 500mg
Finally, after 9 months, they have diagnosed me with TED, after discounting Myasthenia Gravis, amongst many other things. I am Euthyroid, so my TSH, T4, T3 are in normal range, though my Thyroid Receptor Antibody blood test came back positive (though not that high 2.6). My MRI also implied TED. About

negative antibodies
Hi. I’m wondering what you should test or look out for if you have negative antibodies for hypothyroid whilst having a higher TSH number? I get my bloods done every 4 months. The TSH is high, but not high enough to be medicated for (in the UK). I get my bloods done by the nurse and there’s no chat with

Hello everyone, I've been struggling quite a bit lately with symptoms that seemed consistent with thyroid issues, including difficulty to conceive (had a failed IVF last year after many years of trying to have a baby). Research on TSH levels to show doctor
Hello, Apologies for this question, as I know it's one that has been posted before by others (I haven't figured out how to 'save' posts yet!). I'm trying to find research to show to my GP (in the UK) regarding TSH levels. My understanding is that 'healthy' individuals would have a TSH of around 1

Updated diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disorder
Just an update. Unsurprisingly with elevated thyroid antibodies I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune thyroid disorder. As I currently have some hyper symptoms as well as hypo ones, the private GO who’s diagnosed me very sensibly, imo, wants to test again to ensure she gets the diagnosis and treatment

HRT, low white blood cell count & NDT
I have been having appointments with my GP to try and get an HRT prescription. She wanted a blood test doing first - I have been taking NDT for about 8 years (doing really well on it) and basically my GP didn't understand it, stopped calling me in for blood tests and I haven't been for years. Dose of Levo lowered
Hi, My GP lowered my thyroxine from 150mcg to 125 mcg as my TSH was 0.01 after the January blood test My TSH has been low for years. There was no discussion about how I felt and no option to stay on 150mcg. Results from Monitor my Health as GP refuses to test anything other than TSH! Both tests

Help with thyroid results
Hi, I would appreciate any advice please. Just had some blood tests done as I am trying to find out why I am so tired. My TSH is 1.27, FT3 4.4, and FT4 13.5 My Free throxyine is the lowest it's ever been but TSH still 'normal'. I am cold and gaining weight. I don't feel good. Any advice on how

hopefully getting somewhere!!
Having been treated for hypothyroidism since 2000 when I had a thyroid nodule, I have struggled with my weight and wellbeing to varying degrees over the years. I'm now 79, but active. I saw an Endo privately in October had a few blood tests which I have posted, (including Medichecks in Feb I think)

Needing advice/suggestions re tweaking NDT
Hello everyone: Hope you’re all doing as well as can be. So, I’m presently taking 90 Erfa + 25 Synthroid, all at once upon waking. I need to make some changes because I’ve lost half the hair on my head, gained 7 lbs and can’t loose the weight, diet has not changed. Been on NDT for the past 2-3 years

Advice
Hi Not been here for a while as I have been investigating possible Hyperparathyroidism - still ongoing, it's a long road! Also had to deal with a gallbladder removal too...but now resolved 🤞 I'm having private bloods to check for raised Calcium (for HPT), which also test my thyroid. As both problems

Thyroid Test Results
As a result of my GP pressurising me to reduce Levothyroxine intake I have had tests carried out privately. My weight justifies the dosage of 200mcg daily that is currently prescribed. (1.6mcg/kg) However this dosage results in incredibly low TSH levels. My GP seeks to raise TSH levels. Results are

advice - thyroid results and feelings
Hi all, So i've been under private thyroid care for just over and year and a half. I was on 75mcg a day from about 18 years old to 42 years old, had bloods checked and all 'in range' but I didn't feel good. Tired a lot and sluggish and constipation, cold sensitiveness. After changing to private,

Latest blood test results. Advice please!
Hello. I just wanted to ask some advice as the last two blood tests I have had showed a borderline underactive thyroid, but the GP won't do anything until the TSH is over 10. My previous blood test showed a reading of 5.9 mu/L. However, they decided to do yet another repeat blood test to rule out anything

Sub-clinical hypothyroidism
4 years ago in 2019 my thyroid levels were showing underactive borderline I managed to get into normal range and all I did was take Seamoss gel. However it's returned and now my TSH is 10.38 and T4 around 9. I do feel lethargic and fatigued and the GP wants to stick me on to a low dose of levo.. I don't

low TSH
I have autoimmune thyroid disease diagnosed 23yrs ago and have been on the hypothyroid treadmill since. Yet again GP wants to reduce my levothyroxine and liothyronine as my TSH is 0.12. this happens regularly and my TSH never changes. Many years ago an ultrasound of my thyroid showed it was “shrivelled
