Experience whith DHEA, anyone?
Hi all, I’ve been prescribed 50 mg DHEA by my doc, as my DHEAs and
testosterone
were very low. He also told me to take it in the evening. I am puzzled. Dr. Google says to take it in the morning. Does anyone know when it should be taken? Would it lower my cortisol? I am on HC also. Thanks.

After months of urinary tract problems, I was finally diagnosed with Stage 4 Advanced Prostate Cancer with a Gleason score of 9 by the VA
Testosterone
is less than 7. The normal range is 241-827. After having had a Foley urinary catheter in place for more than a year, it was finally removed in late October, a week after a Bipolar TURP had been performed.

PSA and Testosterone befor starting Zytiga ( abiraterone )
( no noticable side effect so far) should I ask my doctor to order a PSA and
Testosterone
test for me to measure the effectivness of Eligard so far and to establish a base line for how effective the Zytiga will be going forward. Am I being too proactive?

PCa-specific Survival after Radical Prostatectomy Is Improved by Metformin but not other Antidiabetic Drugs
Alas, a 1:1 ratio requires high-normal
testosterone
in my case. With ADT, I slip to 2:1. It would be far worse if I were not on 2,000 mg Metformin daily, IMO. -Patrick [1] https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34934970/

Flare up/ symptoms / need to induce period
I know that my symptoms are hormone related, probably cortisol, my progesterone,
testosterone
and estrogen are all low D well, and the fact that I haven’t gotten my period in 2 months. And before that it was very irregular. It feels like torture, this is hell. Hashimotos and hypothyroidism is hell.

6 monthly update and potential treatment questions
His total
Testosterone
has increased from 19ng/DL to 33ng/DL in 3 months (same period PSA fell from 2.6 to 1.2). He was on ADT all this while. I was wondering why his total T has risen. Does it indicate anything?

Regaining Length after Circumcision
Also, I probably lost a fraction of an inch with age; I'm still young but I am not in my teens/20s anymore when I had more
testosterone
. That probably plays a small factor in length.

Rising PSA after chemo, next steps?
His
Testosterone
levels remain <7. (Switched to Orgovyx 6 weeks ago.) His local MO suggested we recheck PSA in 4 weeks. Is this reasonable? Or with this doubling time, should we act?

Another escape pathway is the manufacture of DHT (dihydrotestosterone) via the alternate pathway that does not require
testosterone
, Avodart will inhibit that.

PSA DROP AFTER 2nd FIRMIGON JAB
3 weeks after the first Firmigon jab my PSA dropped from 5 to 0.4 6 weeks later after the 2nd Firmigon jab, it only dropped a tiny amount to .0.34
Testosterone
dropped after the 1st jab from 13 to 0.4 and to 0.3 after the 2nd jab. Should I be concerned that the PSA has not gone to undetectible?
