Why do I have high
testosterone
- it’s not something I’ve had before? Is it linked to the levo/T3? I know my B12 is dire - I’m hoping I can now ask for testing for pernicious anaemia. Unfortunately my iron wasn’t run so I will buy a kit for that.

I did have a significant
testosterone
flair right after the shot. I was also taken off Zytiga because my liver enzymes were too high for my MO. PSA on April 17 with just Lupron was .7. I started Xtandi on April 15th. My PSA on May 14th was still .7. My MO said this was likely my nadir.

Generally,
testosterone

DHEA query in relation to thyroid and cirtisol/adrenal issues.
It was mentioned by the lab that supplementation with DHEA may increase Estrodiol and
Testosterone
. I do use Estrodiol, (gel). My level is 288 so I am increasing my dose with the aim of reaching 400-800. My query is will increasing my Estrodiol increase my cortisol levels do you think?

ADT Eligard
if ADT Eligard starves prostrate cancer cells and reduces
testosterone
, what is rationale for continued use if radiation killed all cancer cells? Just wondering Thanks

The possible beneficial effect for the treatment of peripheral neuropathy of two neuroactive steroids, progesterone and pregnenolone
Among others, progesterone, cortisol, and aldosterone can be formed from it, but also DHEA, the parent substance of sex hormones such as
testosterone
and estrogen.

Testosterone gradually going down while PSA gradually going up (I'm not currently on any treatment)
Both
testosterone
and PSA went to and stayed undetectable. I then stopped all treatments. In January 2021,
testosterone
gradually recovered to mid-range normal levels and PSA was initially undetectable and then later very tiny with a very slow rising trend.

Constant ache
It is showing high
testosterone
but everything else seems to be in the normal range. I don’t know what the point of this post is other than to say I’m really worried about what this may be. It’s taking over my life.

Struggling with ADT lack of libido
A few days ago I discovered low
testosterone
can remains low many months in the body after ADT, and it is unlikely I will have that many months once the cancer becomes resistant to ADT (yet my cancer sucks!). For those who are in lifelong ADT, how do you deal with that?

Sexual dysfunction (male)
In the recent testing my SHBG was also below range (16.3 [20.6-76.7]), and
Testosterone
low in range (10.3 [8.6-29.0]). I have been told that low SHBG can, perhaps counterintuitively, limit
testosterone
.

Did not get baseline testosterone level at start of my Eligard shots.
How important is getting a baseline
testosterone
level at the start of ADT? My ADT therapy may last 2.5 years. My second ADT shot and
testosterone
level test is Nov.3. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't get anywhere at endo appointment with TSH 5.8 and elevated TG antibodies. Is it worth getting another opinion?
All other bloods,
testosterone
etc are ok though that's on the lower end of ok. Do people think I should see someone else? Or would an ultrasound possibly help?

Should I have a hysterectomy?
Also, without surgery the only HRT option is Tibolone, and that hasn't totally resolved my menopause symptoms the way that the Evorel patches did before all of this, and might be the reason I'm getting facial hair and struggling so much with the cystic acne (as it contains some
testosterone
).

Hypothyroidism and infertility
I was wondering if there is a connection between hypothyroidism and low lh FSH and estrogen/ progesterone/
testosterone
? My GP is extremely unhelpful at explaining these things to me, my periods have stopped and my thyroid levels are low alongside my female hormones.
