darolutamide monotherapy experience?
If you’ve had darolutamide mono therapy, I’m interested in your experience with effectiveness and side effects, especially compared to ADT like Lupron.

3 Abiraterone tabs in place of 4.
Warriors Some time back I posted that my MO had told me to take 3 Abiraterone tablets with 5 mg Prednisone daily instead of 4 to help with an out of control Blood Pressure problem. I was worried (as were some of the responses) that this could impact the ADT therapy. Recently had blood work done

Radiation & Underactive Bladder
Does anyone on this forum have an Underactive Bladder and has also undergone prostate radiation treatments? I will be starting a series of 34 radiation treatments coupled with a 6-month hormone therapy (orgovyx) program. Less than 6 years ago I chose RP over radiation as primary treatment for my PCa

Does NSAIDS reduce ADT effectiveness?
Hello I have a question about taking NSAIDS while on ADT - up to now I have only used tylenol - I had read somewhere that NSAIDS subtract some effectiveness of the hormone therapy and I have avoided it - but with the amount of inflammation after 8 months, I would like to use some - primarily to let

BILLY NEEDS HELP
OK troops, after 26 years of surviving post prostectomy, with a Gleason 4/3, 4/4, some 41 rounds of intermittent hormone therapy using lupron, casadex, advodart, I had a break thru last November as my psa went back up mid on cycle. Pancreas problems after RT for prostate
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer two years ago. Received radiotherapy and hormone therapy. My PSA levels have dropped and progress seems OK. I have also had M.E. and fibromyalgia for over 25 years and, as part of that, IBS. Since starting the hormone therapy and radiotherapy I became more and more

DEXA sooner that 2 years?
Has anyone who took ADT for 18 months gotten a DEXA reimbursed or denied by Medicare if the repeat scan was sooner than 2 years? It seems that if easily falls under "medically necessary" because of the damage ADT can do to bone health, but I can't get a straight answer from Medicare. Thanks for any

After ADT
Adrenal insufficiency after stopping ADT & steroids. My 72 year old husband had radical, robotic surgery 7 years ago. PSAs were 0 until 2 years ago, then barely detectable. Had the special PET scan, 3 spots lit up in lymph nodes, (in the area, none remote.) Had 6.5 weeks radiation therapy. Had 2 years

when is enough enough
as I read the post here I am struck by the bravery and never give up attitudes of the men who share their stories here. I have not faced hardly any of the difficulties I read about yet I have already made up my mind that I’m going to stop treatment and enjoy what time I have left . Am I just a wiener

Hi, my Dad was diagnosed back in 2021 with stage IV, Gleason 9, oligometastatic. He had 6 weeks of radiation at the time of diagnosis and has been for the past 2.5 years on Abiraterone, Prednisone and Lupron. As I mentioned in my prior post my Dad’s PSA started going up. He had a PSMA Pet scan and it

"FAN-( )UCKIG-TASTIC RESULTS"
A prostate cancer brother who ask me to return to HU (blame him ;), recently asked me about my T levels. Mid-day today I texted him the results which came in while on a coffee break following my morning of most excellent spring skiing. He texted back what I have used for the topic of this post. Yes

Side effects from Xtandi monotherapy?
after failing multiple times on regular ADT plus SBRT and finally failing LU– 177 and Provenge, my PSA went on the rise again. I’ve been on mono Xtando for six weeks and not feeling well despite trying to exercise heavily. Going in for bloodwork tomorrow. What kind of labs should I ask for? Anyone
