I also suffer from
tachycardia

Pill in pocket
Used it successfully in the past to control supraventricular
tachycardia
(around 170 BPM). Even 30 mg did the job. 3. Flecainide as PIP (200 mg) and maybe combine this with Sotalol (beta blocker).

Bleeding on anticoagulants
Waiting to speak to my GP but doubt they know.....lol I have P-Afib &
Tachycardia
caused by sucessful cancer treatment -Verapamil has been a god send so dont want to come off that drug. For a CHAD rating of 2 is it really worth taking anticoagulants?

Went into
tachycardia
in the night and then into "fast Afib" and struggled to breathe so ambulance took me to hospital yet again. Trying IV flecainide.... fingers crossed. As you can imagine I'm beyond upset.

AF or not AF
Apparently I was diagnosed with Atrial fibrillation in 2007, I was the last to know, finding out today, but having had a number of periods of
tachycardia
over the past few years, I had a week long monitor in March this year.

Hello, I’m new here
About 7-8 years ago I was diagnosed with
tachycardia
and prescribed Verapamil. I have since had no follow-ups, apart from one visit to my GP about three years ago when I felt the
tachycardia
was getting worse, and was told to take one extra tablet a day.

Tachycardia after AF. Has this happened to anyone?
Only the nurses saw the
tachycardia
not the Dr - I’m very confused as to why this has happened and what it might mean. Thanks

Fast heartrate not a symptom of being undermedicated.
Just spoke to doctor and he says if your undermedicated, it will cause bradycardia NOT
tachycardia
and having read replies to my previous posts, this appears to be untrue. I'm just so frustrated and angry having to deal with doctors who don't know what they're talking about, God help us all!!!

Is it normal heart beat?
I started having of
tachycardia
whenever I moved while I sleep. The average 115 beats per minute. My cardiologist said it is normal. It is bothering me because I know the normal heart beat from 60 to 100. Should I worry? Should I go for second opinion?

Please advise me on big change in Lab results after going from levo only to T3/T4 combo in June
And now I’ve been feeling terrible for the past week, exhaustion and increase of all symptoms, on top of high BP and
tachycardia
that started a few weeks ago. A few days ago I was wondering if I should do T3 only then maybe back to levo only, or tweak the combo, and basically I haven’t a clue!

Arrhythmia advice/support?
I generally suffer with paroxysmal AF/
tachycardia
. Ive had 2 ablations which haven’t really helped. I take Sotalol 80 mg daily (increase if I’m in an episode, (which I am unfortunately in just now )) diet and lifestyle are generally good.
