Been diagnosed 3 months ago with Tachycardia and prescribed Bisoprolol 2.5 mg. recently experiencing flushing. Also take Atorvastatin and Fostsair Nextair inhaler for Asthma. Anybody any thoughts on what’s causing the flushing?

Hi Weeheav. I experienced hot flushes after my HA - I thought my menopause had returned for another go! It was probably due to my body getting used to the sudden onslaught of the raft of drugs, and settled down after about 6-8 months.

Thanks for that Alison. The doctor said to give the meds more time too, so hopefully you’re right!

I have been suffering with them for 32 years since my hysterectomy but they have got worse since my HA last August. Pretty sure it’s the bisoprolol or ticagrelor.

Hi Yes on bisoprolol had terrible facial flushing amongst other side effects.
