First period after lap
Hi, can anyone tell me what their first period was like after lap? I had my procedure (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy with diathermy and cystectomy) on the 29th of January, bled really lightly for a few days and then stopped and then my actual period started 2 and a half weeks ago. It’s not anywhere near

Feeling totally confused
I wonder if anyone could offer any advice? I’ve always had pretty heavy periods but they were fairly regular. I have an almost 10 year old but came off the pill 7 years ago to ttc number 2 - never had any success but was diagnosed with “unexplained secondary infertility”. Fast forward to last summer

Follow up after diagnostic lap confirming Endometriosis - what to expect?!
I had a diagnostic laproscopy in October and finally due my follow up. This will be with a different consultants registrar. What can I expect from this appointment? They confirmed Endometriosis at multiple sites and used diathermy on these areas and fitted a mirena coil. Since this time I have experienced

Lap recovery - how was it for you?
I’m 2 weeks post lap and hysteroscopy tomorrow, had quite a lot of endo removed via diathermy and also a uterine polyp taken out. Even though it’s nearly a fortnight since I haven’t seen much progress in recovery, im still completely exhausted and not past the point of doing much more than bed rest

Searching for a miracle 🤔
Hey guys. So had a pelvic and urinary tract ultrasound today and what they found was not as I had hoped. I know I have severe endo for 20 years (uterus, ovaries, bowel, bladder, kidneys, joints you name it, I've got it there!) But they have now found my left ovary is stuck to my bladder and uterus causing

How long is recovery post diagnostic laproscopy/diathermy/mirena insertion?!
I had a diagnostic laproscopy last month which confirmed endometriosis. Visible endo was treated with diathermy from a variety of places (pelvic walls, ligaments, pouch of douglas etc) and the mirena coil was fitted surgically at the same time. I was told to visit GP in 4-6 weeks post op for review

My journey to a diagnosis
Hello ladies, I'm 22 years old and was finally (after nearly 8 long years) diagnosed with endometriosis. As terrifying as it was to know I had this problem it was such a relief to know I had something and all the pain and ongoing problems weren't in my head. My laparoscopy was my last option after

Laproscopic Surgery. Not sure what my findings mean. Can anyone help?
Hi All, I'm currently sitting at home feeling sorry for myself recovering from my laparoscopic surgery 4 days ago although I do feel a little better than yesterday. Still trying to learn about endo and what it means for my future health. The surgeon has written this in my notes, does anyone know what

Endometriosis treatment
Hi everyone ! I need some advice on endo treatment, I went for my 6 week follow up after having a Laparoscopy and diathermy treatment for endometriosis. It's at stage 1 in 4 different places . So not to bad but when I asked about fertility she said that they didn't check my tubes so they wouldn't know

Endo returning
Hi all, So, I had my first lap at the end of March. I was diagnosed with endo and the surgeon managed to remove quite a lot after diathermy. He told me the endo was quite severe (which makes sense as it had taken 10 years to diagnose). Since the operation, I have noticed a big improvement but recently

First period and PMT?🙈
I am so glad I have this forum to ask questions I don't know where I would be without it and the support. I wanted to see what other people's PMT is like with endometriosis? I had a Laparoscopy 3 weeks ago, and I had diathermy treatment for the endometriosis they found. Just waiting on a follow up with

Post Lap pain and emotions
Hi there, Wonder if I can ask your help and advice. I had a lap on Monday where they were able to treat my endo after 12 years of things building. I was so relieved that they finally found out what was causing all the pain and they were able to treat it. They used a diathermy to treat everything and

Excision or Ablation-whats better?
Hi, has anyone had both ablation removal of endo and excision? Was one better than the other? Welcome any experience or advice. I've had two laparoscopic procedures with diathermy before but its come back after couple of years each time. Now I have the option to have excision procedure and wondered if
