Experiences with Zoladex
Hey everyone, I’m feeling very deflated right now. Story cut short - I got my diagnosis of endo in January 2020 via lap (including diathermy treatment) after 12 years of suffering and complaining. The op and treatment although my consultant said was successful, hasn’t worked and my pain has only been

Started my first period in years after Endo surgery?
Hello all. A bit of a strange one here. So I’m 26 and have had abdo pain for about 5 and a half years now. Lots of tests 2 laparoscopic surgeries with one cyst removed and Endo treated with diathermy in Feb this year. I’ve been on the mirena coil for a year now and was on the depo injection for years

Ruptured cyst?
The other night, I woke up in nauseating agony on the right side just by my hip bone. It felt like my ovary was on fire/exploding/made of razors. It was very intense but only lasted a coupe of hours. I've had this pain a few times before and it's essentially felt the same each time. I'm wondering if

4 years ago I had a laparoscopic surgery, for (in technical words) diathermy of endometriosis, adhesiolusis, bilateral tuboplasty for blocked Fallopian tubes secondary to endometriosis and ovarian cystectomy. I’m starting to go through fertility and so I had a internal and external scan to see if any

Tiredness after laparoscopy
I had a laparoscopy 7 weeks ago to drain an endometrioma and diathermy. Is it normal to still feel extremely tired? I've had my bloods checked and I'm mildly anaemic. I've been taking iron tablets and increased my red meat and vegetable intake but so far I'm not feeling the benefit.

Unclear outcome from lap
Hi all, I had my first lap 2 days ago, the surgeon told me he found endometriosis and that my ovaries were stuck to the back of my uterus. For everything else I asked, I got fairly ‘non- medical’ answers. He said he ‘blasted away’ all the endometriosis he could find, which I think he was referring to

Peripheral Nerve Surgeons for Decompression:
Luckylee Hope that helps out a bit... I am both a Provider & a Patient. I had a total of 18 compressed nerves, I’m counting 2 for pudendals (one on each side). I have had 3 major nerve decompression surgeries and quite a story to tell but my purpose is to get you in touch with the right people....

Rectovaginal Endometriosis
Hi, After going back to the gynae and him telling me the endometriosis has returned. He has also said that he suspects I have rectovaginal endometriosis. I have always had pain when going to the toilet and it is generally worse when I'm on my period. I am back on the list for another laparoscopy but

Recovery after laparoscopy and diathermy of endometriosis
Hi almost 3months ago I had keyhole surgery to remove endometriosis from my pelvis and bowel....my gp told me I should be fully recovered but my stomach has not felt the same. I'm constantly bloated and I feel like something is being stretched inside if I try and do any physical exercise. I used to be

Cystitis Cystica??
Hi does anyone have an experience with the condition Cystitis Cystica? I’m an Endo sufferer and had a bladder op in October due to constant UTIs and symptoms of UTIs when I didn’t even have one. Bladder pain/spasms and traces of blood in my wee even when no infection. Several cysts were found so my surgeon

Treatment or what to do
Hi guys, I got diagnosed with endo in 2006 when I was 18/19 which which was a good diagnosis being that age as usually it takes years to diagnose. So basically I had a lap and diathermy in 2006 and then 6 months of zoladex, then in 2008 I had a further lap and excision, and they left a litre of adept

Does endo have to be severe for organs to become stuck?
I feel like I’m posting question after question on here purely due to post lap questions. I had my diagnostic lap 4 days ago now and the surgeon found Endo on my left ovary, pouch of Douglas and he said that my pelvis was stuck but that he managed to unstick it and no damage has been done to my organs

Laparoscopy with diathermy to endo
Hi I recently (last Tuesday) had a hysteria copy and laparoscopy with dye test plus diathermy to widespread stage 2 endo with pelvic washout and cervical cautery. Started having vaginal bleeding today, not heavy, is this normal? I initially had some bleeding (minor) for the first day and a half and

Treatment that doesn’t stop you ttc?
Probably a silly question but are there any treatments for endo that don’t involve contraceptives? I would love a second child (been ttc number 2 for 7 years) and I said to the specialist that I’d like to give it another year before I give up. Wishful thinking I know but I kind of hoped the procedures
