Most effective way to increase Ferratin, Vit C and B12 levels?
Would love to hear others experience. According to my GP I am not technically anaemic as my Hb is very good even though I have a Ferratin level of 10 A further test however also indicated that my B12 level is 215 so maybe borderline PA? I have tried Ferrous Fumerate and Ferrous Sulphate but both have

I'm a year in to diagnosis and treatment now and have to say, I am feeling so much better. The last 6 weeks have been the best for me since diagnosis of hypothyroidism. I've achieved this by taking: 125mg Levo 10mg T3 Ferrous sulphate 3 times a day for my ferritin deficiency I take my iron tablets

Iron and Levothyroxine
We see a lot of people asking questions about iron here. One thing that is frequently repeated is that you must take any iron supplement well away from levothyroxine. As with so many topics, the basic idea of taking iron well away from levothyroxine is well known and understood. The underlying reasons

Borax - has anybody tried this for their arthritis?
Happy Easter every one :-) Hello I have been doing a lot of research in remedies for my osteoarthritis pain. I also have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and I am gluten/wheat sensitive/intolerant. So I have been gluten free for nearly a year and I find it helps. I am not completely pain free but it is considerably

Gp says pay for supplements yourself!
4 weeks ago I had bloods taken and all minerals and vitamins were very low in range but, in particular, serum ferritin was 16 (25-300). TSH was 4.61 (0.4-4.0) and I wasn't feeling as well as I would have liked. GP prescribed ferrous sulphate for 4 weeks and results today were 41 (25-300). I stayed

Yet MORE symptoms, I know I'm a pain but anyone recognise these?
I posted yesterday about a burning face, it's burning again tonight but also tonight I have very swollen ankles and feet (worse on the left foot) and my tummy is also bloated. Feel bloated all over but it's my ankles and feet that are bothering me. My legs feel very heavy too and my feet are warm. Swollen

TSH 4.61 (0.4 - 4.0) under medicating!
After everyone's help and realising that I was being under medicated following a recent blood test, I have now been back to see the Doc. I thought you would like to know that he has upped my thyroxine by 25mg to 150mg and prescribed ferrous sulphate as my ferritin levels were a measly 16 ug/L (25-300
