I'm sorry to hear about the headaches you are experiencing. I would mention it to your oncologist or oncology nurses. You should not have to put up with a headache for so long with no relief. I hope you feel better soon.
By the way, whereabouts in Cyprus do you live? My parents were from Galini and Pendayia.
You're welcome. I hope you get some answers from your oncologist. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about, but it's best to get it checked out. One of my uncles lives in Nicosia. Most of my extended family lives in Limassol though.
Hi Alive-today,
I don't have any experience/words of wisdom with the headaches, but just wanted to let you know that I'm sorry you're experiencing this and I'm hoping for the best for you.
Take care,
Lynn
p.s. I see other responses re: Cyprus...My accountant in NYC is a Cypriot, wonderful fellow; he goes back every year to visit his mom!
Than you for your reply, i will check it out with my doctor. That's nice of your accountant visiting his mum so often , my middle son lives in England wich i miss him very much , he was going to visit me next month, with all this virus happening i don' t think i will see him. Take care
I’m sorry this virus is going to stop your son from visiting. The lack of ability to visit with family is the worst part of the pandemic. My sons are within 15 minutes drive of me but I still can’t see them.
No words of wisdom about your headaches either, but if you aren’t going to see your oncologist soon I would call in and talk to a nurse.
I would look up the "in active" ingredients of your specific generic Letrozole.
From my research and personal experience "in active' ingredients in generic drugs are actually "active". I went thru 4 different types of generic Letrozole until finally taking Femora.
Each generic Letrozole in active ingredient caused different side effects.
Who knows why I am so sensitive to medication, could be I have very little history of taking medicine.
I'm sure my DNA plays an important role with my health. I have a lot of Irish, a little Greek and a tad of Welsh in my DNA.
I mention checking the Letrozole to out rule the source of your sharp temporal head pain. Also if you are on any other medication that could be having an adverse reaction to the Ibrance and Letrozole since you have not been taking those 2 medications for very long.
The sharp pain your describing comes from the temporal part of your head.
With that said, keep track of your BP as it relates to the cranial eye nerves.
I say this because I had a cranial nerve stroke of the 6th cranial nerve that impacted my vision causing me to see double. The Cranial Neve Stroke was from sudden emotional distress that caused a extremely high BP just 4 months before I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer in my bones.
I was in the hospital for a week on intravenous steroids to bring the BP down.
Also, I would have my eyes examined to out rule that as a source for the temporal sharp pain.
We have to advocate and educate for ourselves to secure our own longevity. Having a positive and inquisitive attitude always promotes healing.
I'm confident you will discover the source of the temporal pain and you'll start feeling better !
You got this, feed your courage with faith and it will grow strong through all your discoveries.
Stay grounded by connecting with the rich history where you live and the ancestors from the region who were survivors, get plenty of sunshine, relax by the ocean, eat local food and embrace and enjoy all living things.
I don't have any info to add about the headaches, but knowing you are in Cyprus put a smile on my face. I used to be part of a large on line group of bcmetsters and we had a member from Cyprus. She got good medical care there, so I just wanted to pass tha t along.
