Trying again
To cope with
stress
. I can work from home Fridays and Mondays and muddle through. I want a better life for the sake of me, my family and my work. I have even fallen into the habit of having a couple of drinks on really bad occasions in the morning to feel better.

My Mom needs heart surgery & I'm a terrified, 47 yr old baby
My
stress
and anxiety are getting really out of control. My legs feel like jelly and I feel like I'm going to pass out. I take Valium and Zoloft and I take extra Valium sometimes (not often) and it doesn't do anything when I'm in these states of extreme
stress

Hello everyone
You can do this in the way that is best for you but I wanted to keep it realistic to not create
stress
like telling myself unrealistic expectations in a timeframe that I could feel was ok. I'm far from ok but I'm ok for now. I put into words my thoughts this morning about wanting to find peace.

It was the most difficult time in my life but all the
stress
, I am hoping, will pay off soon. It took us 3 years eventually to get pregnant, 3 ivf cycles, 5 transfers, and one miscarrage.

2 years today , no afib episodes
My last episode was a high
stress
move out of state 2 years ago. I'm 68. I've had afib for 10 years . Regular episodes every 6 months on average though more frequent in the early years before I got a proper diagnosis which took 3 years. I take flecainide , metoprolol , and Xarelto. No ablations.

Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram
I was offered a Dobutamine
Stress
Echocardiogram today and told to stop my beta blocker (Bisoprolol) 48 hours beforehand. It’s on February 14th at 3.30. I take Bisoprolol at 8am and I rang to ask whether I should it on Sunday as I take it in the morning.

Follow up
It’s been confirmed that all my symptoms are likely benign which is good, but has pointed towards anxiety being the reason for noticing a fast heart rate and that it is all normal, and just the smart watch causing undue

Gp reluctant to refer daughter to Endocrinologist
Her Gp has referred her for CBT because of her anxiety and
stress
. She is anxious and stressed because of not being listened too. Considering she is hypothyroid she cannot put weight on which I thought was strange. Saying that I rather she was thin and not the weight that I am.

The doctor said I have to reduce
stress
in my life and he knows that. He doesn’t care. My chest hurts now. Sometimes I just wanna die.

Update on skin lesions
I want to
stress
that these lesions do not look like the prednisone related bruises as I don’t want anyone to get nervous about those. I wonder if anyone else has experienced anything like this on Actemra. I am hoping to be able to go back on it soon.

Constantly Changing Tones
I’m now wondering if this is in fact my reaction to the noise and if this is actually the anxiety and
stress
which is making the noise change and not a reaction to the different situations at all?. If so, I hope this will improve when I manage to calm down a bit.

US Healthcare vs NHS
Over the next 3 months I was able to make appointments with and see my family doctor, a cardiologist, an electrophysiologist, I had appointments for a
stress
test, two CT scans, numerous ECGS, a Transesophageal Echocardiogram, and finally a Cryoablation procedure, all within a span of 3 months.

Intrusive thoughts of Ex
I can’t get over my ex for the life of me and it’s almost been a year . Thoughts pop up of her all day long , I get flashbacks of our relationship, fear at times , scared to leave my house since she lives close to me . What is this ? Trauma ? PTSD ? C-PTSD? It’s super sad . I’ve done EMDR

6 months on.
I just work 3 days a week now in the office, less
stress
and physical exertion. I’m on less money obviously but I can manage and my healths far more important to me and my family. Now the negative points, my depression and anxiety are slowly rising, I can tell and my wife’s also noticed.

Chronic stress can take a toll on different parts of your body and your overall health.
If this happens too often -- say, every day during your commute -- it’s called “chronic
stress
