Proteinuria
Hi Everyone, A new member here. I would like to share my situations to see if there are any similarities with any of you. I am on medication for BP but no Diabetic. My urine test had found a number of episodes with blood in urine starting back in 2012. My doctor requested a 24hr urine test and found

Severe constant pelvic pain
I’m in so much pain and the doctors can’t seem to diagnose it. 5 weeks ago I had painful urination and I was given antibiotics. But a couple of weeks later it progressed to severe pelvic pain, I have lower abdominal aches, dark cloudy urine that smells strong. For the past 2 days I’ve been getting chills

Magnesium taurate & Vit C
I've had A Fib for 5 years. I had an unsuccessful ablation about 2 years ago. About 6 months ago I started taking a daily supplement of magnesium taurine & another of Vitamin C. I had read that either of these can be helpful with AF I've taken them consistently & to my surprise my episodes of A fib

Ozone Therapy
Has anyone ever heard of/used ozone therapy to help calm down inflammation? We're in the middle of a huge flare up of my son's skin, trying to track down the trigger - his skin has been fire engine red, flaking and eyes swollen for multiple days now. The integrative doctor we are seeing is encouraging

MMA urine test
Hi, Is the mma urine test more accurate than the blood test. My 23andme results show several mma mutations but the mma blood result was in range. Is it worth getting the urine test? Thank you.

Sinus Surgery is it worth it?
I had Sinusitis end of August last year for the first time after a cold it made my asthma unbearable. The GP gave me the wrong antibiotic which didn't treat it and it became chronic. I know this as I went to see an ENT Consultant who gave me another antibiotic and I had a CT scan which showed pansinusitis

Looks like that’s it over this time. But advise needed…anyone ever had a low beta as low as mine that progressed?
Hi girls Well my beta is only 19. Been advised to do urine tests and continue meds until they read negative. My consultant said there is only a slim chance that they’ll go up. The digital tests were reading pregnant do I continue these? So confused now. Update. I’ve said I’ll test until Thursday.

Hypertonic Saline
I have just been prescribed 7%hypertonic saline to help with Bronchiectasis. Is this ok to use with the face mask on the nebuliser. It is very salty so not keen on using the mouthpiece.

Oxford Biosciences Methylcobalamin
I finally got my transcobalamin II lab test results and, no surprise, I'm extremely low. Since I lack the proper b12 transport proteins, I'm re-thinking my supplementation program and wondering if my lack of improvement back to "normal" on cyanocobalamin is because very little is actually transported

Transplant Assessment over and out (almost)

How to cope with a child with suspected asthma
Hi. I posted a while ago about my 3 year old LG who has suspected asthma and her medication and inhalers are not making a difference. She had the worse year last year and spent most of it coughing. It's really starting to take a toll on my mental health and I'm so anxious all the time about her having

Lu PSMA treatment updates
I’ve had a few requests for me to report on my Lu PSMA treatment. I was diagnosed a year ago with metastatic PCa, and my reaction to Degerelix and Lupron soon revealed that it was already castration resistant. I’ve been through most SOC treatments and started Lu-PSMA in November through the early access

Flecainide and Bisoprolol as a PIP approach for Vagal Afib?
I’ve deduced I have vagal Afib as all my episodes occur without fail late evening after eating or early morning waking me from my sleep. I take 1.25mg Bisoprolol daily and 50 to 100mg of Flecainide as a pill in pocket. The Flecainide stops Afib in its track usually within one to two hours but I find

Seeing neurologist
Hi everyone. Finally after months I’m seeing a neurologist on Tuesday. I’m 22 female and had two instances of wetting the bed a few weeks ago. My vision has been very blurry the past few days in the morning. It takes about an hour for things to settle. I have lots of mood issues and severe pressure
