bfp then hcg levels went from 530 to 350. Is it all over? My clinic said it's a MC. Even though this was a natural conception post ivf
But the clinic said not to take any
steroids
or lubion progesterone ( only started them 2 days ago but found out I had lower hcg levels yesterday evening. I've not had a bleed yet had spotting which was one off then gone. No cramps etc or back pain.

Side effects: • A little tired, but that was offset by a week of
steroids
as was any "rebound pain" from extensive mets in my pelvis and spine.

Flare treatment
It’s like my
steroids
, HRT snd Levothyroxine have all suddenly stopped working and my mood has plummeted. Suspect it might be adrenal glands but now have a PMR flare to deal with. I had a dose of cold couple of months ago and some extra stress.

My experience at "Older Persons" clinic....
Was seen very quickly for bp and weight...bp always very high at any surgery......it was 180/80......it:s 150/70 at home...Anyway was then called in to see the doctor.......she talked about my bp and dizziness/balance....and everything according to her is because of
steroids
!......

Meniscus tear/PMR flare update
The senior GP is obviously one of those who are frightened of
steroids
and wants me off them regardless of any pain I have. I just hope I have built up enough of a supply of pred 🤞

Small Airways Disease
One week in hospital & antibiotics/
steroids
etc CT scan showed airway inflammatory changes & I had lost 25% of my DLCO, Now standing at 74%. He’s still insisting I don’t have copd (fvc/fev no where near .70) but mentioned small airways disease but didn’t say much more.

Thanks to all here - split dose over 24 hrs evenly?
I know this is complicated in term of circadian rhythms and adrenal gc production but I would have thought taking all at once will produce an uneven level of
steroids
over 24 hrs whilst an overall level could be lower if spread out. Is that faulty reasoning ?Has anyone tried this ?

update on subacute thyroiditis
I was eventually given a course of
steroids
as my ESR was stubbornly high (40mg prednisone) which was tapered off and B blockers to manage thyrotoxic symptoms. The
steroids
worked like magic and I’m now feeling so much better. I also started B complex vitamins and iron supplements.

Update on Rheumy visit
I also asked about adrenals and she said that was another reason to reduce quicker as longer she is on
steroids
the harder it will be for her adrenals to waken up.

Depo-Medrone 120 jab. How long do the effects last?
This suits me perfectly, I don't really want to be taking oral
steroids
if I can avoid them. But how long does the effect of the injection last? It has been a week now and I can feel some of the symptoms returning.

Fast forward to recently and in an effort to reduce the number of
steroids
I’m taking, I decided to give it another go. I lasted 4 weeks but have had a similar experience, so stopped about a week ago.

Steroids
. Neither Dr or pharmacist knew this. Not sure how high I should go. Any suggestions?
