I have artery disease ( 50-65% stenosis on LAD but my cardiologist says I don`t need a stent as my symptoms are being managed with various drugs including nitrates and
statins
. Is that a situation that other angina sufferers find themselves in?

Happy new year hearties.
has anyone been put on the PCSK9 inhibitors , known as pepatha, for high cholesterol, my liver has rejected ordinary
statins
, this is done twice a month by yourself with an injection pen. It seemed to be used only for people with heart disease.

High cholesterol & levothyroxine
I have a horrible feeling GP will tell me cholesterol is high & that I may need
statins
. I have read here that these do not sit all that well with levo treatment. I have also read that if levo dose is right then cholesterol should be OK.

Just wondering……..
I don’t want
statins
so am trying dietary & lifestyle changes; I have cut out biscuits, cakes, etc. I’ve started to slowly lose a little bit of weight, but a big change is the reduction in my pain levels. Drugs are keeping the arthritis stable.

Has anybody with low TSH and not converting a T4 actually increased their T4?
So of course now on blood thinners,
statins
and pills to reduce blood pressure. I didn’t have hypo symptoms on 150 mcg but neither did I have Hyper symptoms. Do you think I should discuss the possibilities with my doc (the reasonable one who goes by symptoms not TSH.

Burning legs a statin side effect?
I started
statins
approx 2 yrs ago following a diagnosis of CVD. It’s hard to put a time on it but I’m sure that it’s since then that I started with burning legs. I’ve changed from Atorvastin to Simvastatin because I’d also started having discoid eczema.

Statins
I have been taking the
statins
for 7 days, I hurt across my neck and shoulders, sore throat, no energy so tired and this morning had a severe bout of vertigo and nausea. I’m so fed up I am thinking of just stopping these horrible drugs and taking my chances.

New Pfizer Anti-Viral Pill Interactions
"Some medications, such as particular
statins
, are most likely safe to stop taking during treatment with the Covid pills, Anderson said. For example, it might be better to stay on certain blood thinners but to lower the doses.

RLS controls my life
I have quite a few health issues, BP, controlled with medication , heart murmur and aortic value disorder, again medicated, I take
statins
and amitriptyline. I’ve also had breast cancer2019/2020 with surgery and radiotherapy. I am so very scared to take this next step.
