I wonder if anyone can help with this. Sorry for bothering you.
Hi. I have just had a TAHBSO on Thursday for a small ovarian cyst that had abnormal areas including a solid component. I'm post menopausal. And had a small vaginal bleed in February. Which is why I was referred urgently for scans. Second scan in July picked up areas of concern but first scan didn't.

She's been dealing with so much health problems but she never had before. Started with a random blood test with bad results so she got checked up with that. It was nephrotic syndrome and something else for the kidneys. I made peace with okay this is forever we'll make her comfortable and treat it Etc

Not Fibromyalgia: Not CFS
I haven't visited here for some time. Following major surgery for head and neck cancer I developed terrible fatigue which included a ton of symptoms. Covid was rife and no appointments were possible with a GP. Not much better now either. I was in a real state both physically and mentally so emailed

I was prescribed pregabilin by my doctor from the advice I was given by Healthunlocked Unfortunately he prescribed half the normal dosage which would be prescribed for Ekbon Syndrome This was a waste of time My current doctor won't discuss Ekbon Syndrome so I have nowhere to turn I am 77 years of age

I have a eGFR of 10 and still avoiding dialysis. I am 75 and the transplant team will not consider a deceased kidney. So I am searching for a live donor. I have 2 people I know who are being evaluated. I am awaiting approval of my story on National Kidney Registry. I also am waiting for my story

Cardiac surgery
Has anyone on long term thyroid meds had open-heart cardiac repair surgery? Any ideas as to whether it affects thyroid and any need to up/ lower T4/T3 meds? Any reflections/suggestions would be most welcome.

Verzenio
I have stage 3 lobular cancer. So far had surgery, radiation and currently on Letrozole. I am considered high risk. Did not do chemo because it is not always effective with lobular cancer. Oncologist wants to put me on Verzenio but I am reluctant due to side effects. I am 68 and a full time teacher and

Recurrence after prostatectomy
I have a relative who had surgery 6.5 years ago. Pathology was very favorable, 3+3+tertiary 4 i.e. less than 5%, no pos margins, no ECE, no nodes. He remained undetectable for 6.5 years, but now is .07 verified. What would SOC be for him? Prostate bed or wide radiation, length of ADT, just Lupron or

2 weeks after Bypass surgery
Good morning everyone 😊 Sorry for the delayed update. On 15 Jan I underwent CABG x3. I was in ICU on the ventilator for 24 hours after op as there was a bleed on my chest that they needed to correct before waking me up. I was completely unaware of any of this, my first memory was a 3am phone call from

Please can someone reassure me
I had lap and excision over 7 weeks ago. But I'm still experiencing random pelvic pain. Is this normal 7 weeks post endo excision surgery? Does it get better?

Second stint in ICU and afraid
Hi all. I have just got home after my second time in ICU in the last 4years. The first time was in 2019. I had a chest infection that turned into penumonia which led to sepsis. That time I was in an induced coma for 3 months and in hospital for 5 months. I recovered thankfully, but then in September

Be Careful Out There (UK)
As temperatures fall in UK I listened to warnings about falls on ice and made a mental note. I have been trying to walk every day while on chemo (carbo/Caelyx for 3rd recurrence). i was about 200 metres from home yesterday when I looked down and realised the pavement which had looked fine was actually

Transfer day ….
My two eggs survived to day 3…. One was 8 cell and the other 10 cell. I’ve got steroids this time so I’m really hoping it helps with NK cells. Had lap surgery a few months ago too so I’m hoping for a better environment for them will help also. So any tips now…foods to eat, things to avoid. I’ve taken

Surgery and immuno suppressants
Hi everyone. I am due to have minor surgery on my wrist and have been asked by my surgeon to cease taking mycophenolate for a week before and a week after my operation (I presumed because of possible risk of infection?). I spoke to my rheumatologist about this and she considered it unnecessary to stop
