IBS with BAM Hospital episodes
Does anyone end up with severe bile sickness after numerous bowel movements (about 7-10 times) and then end up in hospital with chronic dehydration? To hydrate, given 4-5 bags of saline before being able to come back to normal. The bile sickness continues until I’m fully hydrated. My last episode

OCALIVA
Hello! Anyone is taking OCALIVA in addition to Ursodiol to lower ALP? Does it work? Do you have any side-effects? How long have you been taking it? My ALP jump quite a bit and my doctor mentioned OCALIVA. I don't like what I read about the side-effects. I'd appreciate your input. Thanks!

The end of the second week of HHD training
Wow, it is a lot. I will not sugar coat this experience at all. This week, at my Monday appointment I had a conversation with my Nurse. Couple of things needed to change. One was dialysis four times a week was too much. Next, I did not need more than 2 hours a day. AND.....I went home Thursday of week

Sick day rules after having IV cortisol?

Penile Implants
Here in the U.S. there are two penile implants for E. D. They are the Coloplast Titan and the AMS 700. Both are internal with a saline water bulb hidden in the scrotum. When an erection is needed it is pumped up. Afterwards a click and the thing puts the fluid back in the bulb. Surgery looks barbaric

What to do with cramps?
I am just going to post a quick question..... what do you do about the friggin' cramps? I have had only three dialysis treatments and by the second one, I had cramps in my legs and feet. Yesterday, I administered saline back into my system and the cramps stopped at the treatment center. However, later

First time on dialysis
I should have posted this here. I did originally posted it in the site for dialysis. But if you are looking toward dialysis, you would be on this site first. So, this is my journal though my first time on dialysis. You can see the replies if you can get on the HealthUnlocked for Kidney Dialysis. I know

First dialysis.... not for a wuss
As I promised, I am going to document my journey as I have done before. Now it is hemodialysis. Holy mackerel. Anyone who thinks this is easy, let them sit in the chair for a turn and see what they think. My husband came with me and will be attending the training with me for the next five weeks. I am

You are all babies so far that I have read. My tumor was removed by surgery AN and they called it a schwannoma. But who knew from what I was told I don't think they knew much. It was taken in 1990, a large bugger that left me deaf, palsied, tinnitus, open eyed, and short of balance., Neeedless

Small uterine polyp 6.5mm and continuing with FET? Any success stories
Hi all, My main question is has anyone gone ahead with a FET when they have had a small polyp on their lining and what was the outcome? If positive outcome was there any problems later down the line with the polyp. Being offered 3 options, continue with the FET as it's smaller than the NICE guidelines

CUT PRE-SURGERY - MURPHY'S LAW?
Well this happened Tuesday morning. The two bottles fell off the rollator seat and one, although plastic) cut the skin through to the shin. The skin flap is intact. Immediately started to cry. It didn't hurt at all. I was thinking they would postpone my surgery which is tomorrow morning. Immediately

Day 2 Enhertu infusion
The first day the infusion protocols went very smoothly. Received saline fluids first, 3 premeds for nausea etc. then the Enhertu. No pain no side effects. My infusion nurse suggested a port for me. My vein in my arm is scarred. So port it is. I am drinking 💦 and eating light carrots 🥕 🍦 🥗! No nausea
