Spiriva

I’m on Symbicort SMART so was taking 2 puffs 4x a day, plus Spiriva Respimat, Montelukast, Fexofenadine 180 and Mometesone. After a week I couldn’t carry on, went back to go and was put on another course of steroids; 7 days full dose and 7 days tapering off.

Hello, Ive just started using Spiriva Respimat and Alvesco 160 inhaler for my asthma over the last couple of days and noticed my eyes are sensitive to light and they feel slightly irritated. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you

I take Spiriva Respimat every day (one dose in the morning) and also Serevent. Since taking the former, I have been becoming hoarser and hoarser. I really notice it as I am a singer and have worked as a professional singer at times.

When I don't have colds, her plan for be is to be on Seretide twice a day, Striverdi Respimat (olodaterol) once in the morning and Spiriva Respimat (tritropium) once at night. Does this sound intense? Every appointment she assures me I have "Mild" asthma. Does that sound right?

I take Ventolin inhaler and nebuliser, spiriva respimat , symbicort and pred tablets daily. Did nucala work for anyone in here. Thank you

I have no symptoms no SOB and frankly I don’t feel any difference after taking them except for the heart pounding for couple of hours after Spiriva Second doctor told me to drop the inhalers 3rd doctor with second spirometer test also told me not to use them I frankly don’t know the use for each and

Now confused as my gp said I would be on Spiriva for life!!! Who do I trust?? Any input welcome please.

hello guys I'm new to this group I have had COPD for several years and used different types of inhaler including Spiriva,Seretide 100 and salbutamol. I don't know if any of them actually work cause I don't feel any different after using them.

I currently am taking Spiriva Respimat and Symbicort, with Ventolin as my rescue inhaler, and I am finding that I'm using the Ventolin more than I used to.

Oxygen at 96 so not that, maybe Spiriva. Starting to get panicky with this and can’t sleep. Does this happen to anyone else?

Wondering if this could be shock of diagnosis or affects of Spiriva??? Any similar experiences or advice more than welcome, thank you.

Two commonly used anticholinergics in patients with COPD include ipratropium bromide (Atrovent) and tiotropium bromide (Spiriva). Shocking part of story IS doctors know anticholinergics cause dementia and have done for years.

Plus getting headache on waking could this be because of Spiriva? Thanks.

If so, does it help and is it safe to take with spiriva and ventolin. Ive been on prednisolone short term, but now its stopped my chest feels rather tight again.

I am wondering if this awful discomfort is due to spiriva i am taking. My chest and stomach feels like theres a tight belt round it. I’ve not slept a wink all night every time i think i’m dozing off i wake suddenly not breathing properly and like im going to suffocate.

Hi, Can anyone tell me what side effects spiriva would cause. I have read the leaflet but would rather hear if anyone gets side effects. I wont go on about my symptoms because i dont want to appear to be moaning, i know theres so many people far worse off than me.

I’ve been taking spiriva for about a month but dont seem any better, and its difficult to stay calm so then my pulse races. I used my ventolin inhaler every hour which only helped a little. I thought being on spiriva would have helped now.

a year, can not shift strep pneumonia and Haemophilious influenzie then get three months rest around Summer months, so I'm on Azithromycin for three months now but I also have had lots and lots of rescue needs throughout this year, too many antibiocs to count, I'm also asthmatic and on Fostair and Spiriva

And here is the list:) Tananvic for 10 days Combivent 4 times a day for 5 days Pulmicort twice a day 7 days Again more ACC but I take that daily anyway And a new bronchodilator to replace the Spiriva and Seretide. The new one is ANORO ELLIPTA. Does anyone have experience of the ANORO inhaler?
