Hi, all. I have been reading some good things about this relatively new COPD drug Anoro Ellipta. Has anyone tried it? And, if so, what are your thoughts? I currently am taking Spiriva Respimat and Symbicort, with Ventolin as my rescue inhaler, and I am finding that I'm using the Ventolin more than I used to.

I was on Anoro for several months and have switched to Trelegy. It has everything anoro has and then some. Just have to remember to rinse your mouth out after using it. I like it so far.

Thanks for the reply, Davidatp. Were you ever on Spiriva? I'm just looking for something better. But it could be this is the best I can do. When you say, "I like it so far," does that mean it helps your breathing?

Yes I was on Spiriva for a few months. I don’t think it helped that much. Yes I believe the Trelegy helps a little bit with breathing. It has an anti-inflammatory. God bless.

I'm on Anoro, have been for couple of years though I've tried others for a month here and there but I find Anoro does the job for me.

Just moved off Spiriva Handimat onto Anoro can't say I notice any difference really. It is cheaper and it is a combination inhaler so only have one instead of two inhalers. I guess that is the upside for me, remembering to take both before was sometimes an issue if I got overtired:)

Hi I was on both Symbicort and Spirva Respimat for several years and quite frankly I didn’t notice any difference whether I took them or not. My Dr. switched me to Anoro and the improvement was immediately noticeable far superior. Also Anoro costs less than the other two

Thanks you for your replay, vmrdoug. That's exactly what I think about Symbicort and Spririva. I usually feel pretty well in the morning, so I don't take them until 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. I can then tell no difference in my breathing; and, in fact, sometimes I think it's actually worse. I really want to try Anoro.

Hi challny merry Christmas. My doctor put me on this on the fifth of December, it felt like phlegm always in my throat and I had trouble breathing. This clears up my breathing. I think it works well. I only use it once a day. My other inhalers weren’t getting it all. Have a nice evening
