Thoughts on CRPS compensation
So I've had negligence upon negligence and then some more...! I originally fell down the stairs and broke my leg in 3 places. They put 6 screws in my leg. One was in the wrong place (but could be argued with that it was acceptable) the other was slightly too long - confirmed by CT scan, and needed replacing

Pain is my friend lol
Hi. I'm sure practically everyone on this site is suffering physically or emotionally. Or both lol. I'm hoping that this is my last spinal surgery in the lower back. I can't complain I've played competitive sports until I hit 49. So as soon as my back started when I was around 50. I was deeply concerned

Spinal Cord Stimulation for PD Pain
I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with electrical spinal cord stimulation for the treatment of pain related to PD. Meds have become ineffective and the pain disabling many days. I already have had dbs surgery so I figure at least I could keep some appliances running during a power outage

PD and spinal cord stimulation
My husband has PD and arthritis with degenerative disk disease. He is currently doing a trial for a spinal cord stimulator. It is called Stimwave device. It seems to be helping with back pain. Has anyone had this procedure done?

Week 2 Run 1
I have completed the first run in the week 2 today and by the 3rd 90 second run I actually found myself enjoying it. Think I must have masochistic tendencies! My legs now feel like lead but I am particularly proud of myself as I had to take last week off as it was half term and it's only been 3 months

Adrenal insufficency
As you all know by now....I have been on your forum for almost five years and have gained considerable information and insight in dealing with this awful disease. (I haveGSA and PMR. ) I have made it through shingles, spinal fusion and laminectomy surgery as well as two cataract operations. Just recently

Muscle Relaxer?
I have PD and am currently taking Azilect, Ropinerole, and Carbidopa/levidopa. I am very active, but lifted a heavy object yesterday and have painful muscle spasms in my lower back. Can I take a muscle relaxer - Carisoprodol - which is leftover from a spinal fusion I had before going on PD meds?

Breathlessness and Depression
I read some post on here regarding 'unexplained' breathlessness. I too have constant breathlessness, which is becoming extremely debilitating. I have been on Levothyroxine for some 35 years and take 150mcg daily. Strangely, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism only after I suffered a kind of breakdown

MDT Pain Management
First appointment tonorrow! Before I moved to Lancashire I was on the waiting list for spinal cord stimulation. I don't know what to expect really because it's a multi disciplinary team, including a psychologist (I can already feel him inside my head!)....... Any tips would be great! Although my appointment

Tramadol and oxynorm safe together?
Hi, I'm new to this forum, I was hoping to get some help with my medication I had spinal surgery September 2015 and have been on tramadol, gabapentin and baclonfen since then. Because I now walk with a limp to my left side as I have a paralysed left foot and out side of my left leg is completely numb

Intro- First time post
I feel foggy. Like I'm drunk, or hungover, or on cold medicine. Headaches, lightheadedness, fatigue. This is my 13th year of this, and I have been worked up for EVERYTHING!!! I've seen MD's and Naturopathic physicians. For a while I thought I had an autoimmune "sticky blood" issue, but top LA rheumy

Spinal Cord Stimulator
All of a sudden things are progressing with my Spinal Cord Stimulator. I have an appointment on Feb 3rd to complete all the paperwork. On Feb 8th I will have a trial implant which will remain in place for about a week. Hopefully things will go well and I can have the permanent implant shortly after.
