I give up!
Have messaged before but briefly I have been diagnosed with AF and SVT and recently had mention of junctional rhythm yet am struggling to get anti coags. I've seem umpteen different cardiologists, one said yes to go on anti coags, explained pros and cons of each but then wrote to my doc discharging me

What experiences have others had with Apixaban, Flecainide Acetate & Metoprolol Tartrate? I'm concerned about side effects.

Hi Judy, it's been suggested you might me able to help me. I live in West Wickham, Kent and wonder if you you know of a physio in my area?
I had a hysterectomy in 2001 then in 2009 I had prolapse surgery which left me with PN. I'm under Uclh for the PN and have had nerve blocks. Unfortunately I have another prolapse. UCH said to get my gp to fit a pessary ring, he tried 5 different ones over 3 occasions but each time they immediately

Feeling hopeless after ablation for SVT and Atrial Tachy
Hi. I had my second ablation for SVT and Atrial Tachy just over 6 weeks ago and I'm still feeling awful. The first 4 weeks were the worst with almost constant skipped beats which where accompanied by a sinking feeling of dread whenever it skipped. These have started to subside but I'm in a state of anxiety

Feeling unwell & a bit afraid
Had first ablation 1st Nov said to have been successful but a 2 weeks later was in hospital with tachycardia & back on beta blocker as in AF again. Right now have terrible shakes and heart rate over 230 bpm, feel rubbish but not sure what to do, if anything. Seeing cardiologist next week as something

Have seen an E.P. to day at last!
Finally feel that someone is taking control. He explained that when you have an e.c.g. when in A.F. the computer can't cope and throws up all sorts of errors such as showing long Q.T. syndrome. So I'm not going to die suddenly after all! He wants me to try flecanide and if I don't get on with it or it

What exactly is CT-guided periradicular /coccygeal Infiltration?
Is this in fact the same as a nerve block? And is this basically the technique used in Nantes and maybe elsewhere for pudendal neuraliga and also to treat back problems / pain?

Chronic back Pain
Hello, just found this forum, and im hoping I can get some advice or help. 3 years ago last month my back decided it would give me jip and also give me sciatica down my left leg (due to the disc being on it). The following May 2011, I had surgery to remove most of once of my discs, with the 3 under

Just been for E.C.G. prior to a private appointment with E.P.
Luckily caught the A.F. but also showed long Q.T. as well. G.P. in a bit of a panic then and told me to take the low dose of bisoprolol that I had previously been told not to take because of 1st degree heart block. He said I was complicated and he was glad I was seeing the E.P. soon. I'm not usually

I am having Occipital Nerve Block Injections in the next couple of weeks.
I was just wanting to know how many people have had them and if they helped at all. Also are they painful? xXx

Cardiologist's report.
Could anyone please explain in plain English a couple of terms in a report of my latest cardiologist appointment which I received a copy of this morning. And yes, I did google them and spent most of the morning going cross eyed trying to understand the results! Apparently my recent 7 day monitor recorded

Day 8 after my 1st ablation & back to AF :(
I 've had a low pulse (low 50's) since my ablation, but my initially low BP suddenly went very high & meds not apparently effective now. Yesterday afternoon, my heart suddenly started palpitating but did not stop as it has been doing and my HR went up to 170-200 BPM. I then got some chest pain & went

What happens now ?
I am confused - for over a week I have had the fast irregular pulse. As this was a repeat of two years ago the GP has booked me to attend warfarin clinic and specialist as per previous. Today heartbeat changed it's not racing of missing beats anymore ! Not sure if it is "normal" as may increase and

Recently diagnosed with AF really anxious about it. I am 44 cardiologist initially tried me on Metoprolol but it made me feel awful.
Now taking Verapamil 40mg 3 times a day, don't seem to have such bad side effects. Feel anxiety is a big trigger for AF.

I have been suffering from pelvic pain for 7 years since hysterectomy.I am 67 and this has ruined my retirement plans,
I have had numerous pudendal nerve blocks which no longer work. Have been diagnosed privately by Dr Baranowski as having pudendal neuralgia with a 'muscle' component. Told needed to be referred on NHS to UCH to get 'full' treatment package. this has happened but waiting times are horrendous (will be

Anyone had epidural / spinal block for pelvic pain?
I'm seeing a new pain consultant tomorrow, after the last one saw me once for a few minutes, said I should stop morphine and discharged me. Pretty much the only thing I haven't tried is epidurals / nerve block injections and I'm guessing they may suggest this. I'm worried about this for a few reasons
